Only waited in line for 10 minutes. Make sure to go in the middle of the month when it's not as busy

No it's on their system
no
Pay after you drive in and pass the test.
No. The line usually forms before it opens so don't be in a hurry. They're very fast and efficient.
No, they just do the emissions testing. You can get your tags here..https://servicearizona.com/VehicleRegistration/renew?execution=e1s1
Yes. The accept American Express, Discover, Visa and MasterCard
Good experience and yes, you can go through emissions with a cracked windshield.
Just drive on in . Make sure your check engine light isn't on and that your gas cap works. Bring a credit or debit card to pay.
Don't roll in with a cat delete straight pipe..u gonna fail
8am
Not during COVID-19
You don't need papers, you just go in and they test your car and let you know if it's a pass or fail.
You better call them. There is a separate line for RV's and commercial trucks and larger vehicles. Great question!
Nope just pull in
I am really not sure, please check if they accept apple pay or Google pay or Android pay so that you are touch free. I paid with my card only.
I stopped in there on Monday with no appointment & was done in ~15 or 20 minutes for $17.00
8am til 5pm Mon-fri
Nope you have to have your emissions done before you can get your registration done
No
And after 2016
There is not a local phone number for each location, you'll have to use the general number 877-692-9227
Yes, it happened to me once, after I took the test the second time they didn't charge me money. If you have check engine light ON - you will fail. If you completed repairs, and your car computer was reset, you have to let your car to pass cycle. Typically, 3 minutes ignition on second position, than you start the car 3 minutes on idle, than 5-10 minutes of steady driving at about 40 miles per hour. It depends on years, make and model of the car. Good luck
Well yes and no. If you reset the computer, their computers will know because it also wipes the emissions information that they use. Heres the standard rule set of what you should do: 1.) Make sure the check engine light isnt on (usually is a picture of a engine or the words "service engine soon") If your check engine light isnt on, you're good to go. 2.) If it is on, take it to a mechanic you trust 3.) After the mechanic fixes it, drive it around 50 to 100 miles in stop and go amd high traffic Notably, after step 2 it varies from car manufacturers though your common ones (Ford, Nissan, Chevy, dodge, etc.) should be covered
Never had to open hood of car, just gas tank and some other functions of the car.
Talk to the DMV and get temp tags online in the mean time.
8 am. Closed sunday
You have to get out of the car
Nope
Yes, $16
You are better off running it through AZ emissions and registering in AZ. Take the pass certificate to the MVD and just pay for plates. Arizona is among the cheapest in the nation for automobile registration. Also when you sell the vehicle the buyer will not have to pay sales tax which will allow you to charge a little more. If you sell in TX they'll just have to get emissions done there again along with registration. MVD is a bit slow and busy in AZ so I recommend a 3rd party which usually has no wait at all.
Yes they are. Ask for Bob on location.
It takes time to receive in the mail. The notice tells you the date it expires. You can always go to the private DMV places and pay for your registration. They charge an $8.00 fee.
Yes
2013 model year and older vehicles, have to complete the required emissions tests, with passing results, to be registered in Maricopa County. (my wife is an inspector at a local station for the past 2 years).
Cost is dependent on the vehicle that is being tested. You should expect about $15-25 for the test.
They never asked me to show anything. Been going there for years. They take card, cash or check. They only ask for inspection fee.
$17 for 96 and newer cars and light gas trucks. $25 for diesel vehicles, and $19 for 95 and older non OBD2 vehicles.
8am until 7pm m-f, and 8am until 5pm on Saturdays
