Union Tempe

Union is basically on ASU campus and right above a Starbucks so its a perfect location. I was super uneasy about touring apartments and getting housing for the fall since everything sells out so quickly but my tour guide was amazing (i forgot their name :/ ) and really eased my worries. I think union will be so fun next year!

Overall it’s okay. Cons: The elevators are always broken, dirty, and smell like garbage. My bike was stolen from their bike storage and they didn’t seem to care or actually do anything about it. The workers in the office are all college students, most of the time they were snarky or rude for no reason, but some of them were nice. Last summer the AC was constantly broken and not working for the whole South Tower. The HVAC vents are always dirty and spreading dirt everywhere. The pool is always gross and trashed. We had a water leak in my unit and the front office said that they’ll send maintenance asap, but maintenance never showed up. The rooms also don’t have blackout blinds. Pros: Good location, it’s right across the street from campus. They also do a lot of free food events for residents with Chic Fil A, Nektar, etc. They also do events that you can participate in to win free items, like coffee makers or headphones.

Toilet has been broken since I got here, I put in 4 work orders Matience comes every 5-7 days. No way to file a complaint about work order. Suck responding to emails. Don’t lease here. Super expensive. AC sucks. Keep the shades down all day and night still have to keep it at 68 with the fan on to keep it somewhat comfortable
