Do not place your loved one here. I was told they would put a safety plan in place so my uncle would not fall again after falling twice before out of the bed. I never received a call and he fell again and was told he had a small bump on his head. The whole day passes before finding out he is now in the ER and never got a call that he was. When I get to hospital come to find out he has a gash and received stitches. The next day he is not himself and we decide to get him to a hospital again and remove home from there. I could go on about other things but to keep simple my one word to describe the care is neglectful.

I was most impressed by how the employees at Grace Care acknowledged the patients by name and the overall atmosphere. We looked a few other facilities and chose Grace Care because the admin let me stay with my wife during her recovery. They have been extremely accommodating and the food was better than most other facilities we’ve been in. The nurses, therapists, CNA’s were all excellent. I was very pleased with how the facility is operated and the overall service. I would recommend Grace Care to anyone looking for a wonderful facility for a loved one. I would be happy to provide a reference for anyone who has questions about this facility.

If I could I would give this misleading unsuitable place zero stars if I could! God sees all and that all I have to say!

I am extremely please with the care my mother received at grace care she fell and the bathroom about 3 weeks ago and the hospital wanted to send her to and compass but she was denied. I did not know what else to do I heard a lot about things about skilled nursing facilities but my case manager told me to just talk to Them. A lady came out to the hospital I can't remember her name she was A tall black lady and she was so sweet and she seemed like she really cared about my mother in her care I talked to a couple other places but I decided to go with grace care. And boy was I surprised with the Whole experience. At 1st it took A-day or so to get all of her medications in but after that she was in there be every day and she was doing well The people are so nice And caring. My mom is home now and she's walking on a Walker and getting around and she plans to go back and volunteer I was so happy with my experience That if I did not leave a review I would be doing them a total Injustice. Those are some hard working people and I appreciate everything they did for my mom thank you for the whole experience.

Thank you for sharing Tammy. We very much appreciate your kind words and recognition.
Tammy, the nursing assistant in question has been permanently removed from the facility. Grace Care Center at Northpointe is fully cooperating with the appropriate legal authorities. We are taking every step necessary to ensure that nothing remotely similar happens again. If you would like to discuss further please reach out to Kara Garman, Executive Director at 281-205-9400.
I have stayed very late once and took a nap on the couch in the lounge. The motels are super expensive out there. It is probably safe to nap in your car. Most nursing homes go out of their way to put the patients to sleep at night. Meaning the patients are given medicine that makes them drowsy. So any effort on your part to be a spouse is really futile. Those of us with elderly or sick loved ones share your pain.
