Publix Super Market at Village at Waterside

The Milk goes bad every time that I buy it at Publix. This doesn't happen at Food City or Costco. It makes me question the quality control. Employees are great, but I am questioning management at the higher level. I will not be back.

I live closer to Snow Hill however I prefer this location because because the fruit selection and sushi just seems fresher! I always buy buy subs from there as well which I order via the app... they're always prepared by the time they say it will be. Plus there's just really good customer service.

I love this location! It is always clean and the shelves are always full unless they are out something. The staff is always pleaant and friendly. If you can't find an item look for a staff member and he/she will be more than happy to order the product for you! I love the salads sold un the Deli.

In the food chain of grocery stores, I place Publix at the top of the list for quality of its produce, Bakery, and meat selection and in the upper middle tier for pricing. I find that it has increased its selection of organic and natural foods to compete with Whole Foods, without the higher price. They are priced above Food City and Aldi, but their quality store brand products help to close the gap. I find their customer service unparalleled. If you can't find something, ask an associate and they will pull it from the back if they have to. And having someone take your groceries to your car is a bonus. Shopping at Publix is a pleasure due to their employee owned structure. Employees do care about the customer and take pride in their jobs, and it shows. The general manager at this location has done an excellent job in cultivating his team.
