Not the same under new ownership, service and food doesn't meet expectations

This place just didn't hit the spot for me...the bagles were hard and the kolaches were not flavorful . I got the special bagle with jalapeño, turkey, and such. Jalapeño bagle was hard. Then got the Jalapeño & Asiago Kolaches, the extras have been on the counter for days (chunking them now) they just aren't good and have no flavor.

Best bagels in Fort Worth if they are ever open so you can get them. The last three times I have gone to get bagels they show to be open and yet closed. I’m done going out of my way to try and get a great bagel. Guess I’ll just have to go to NYC at least they are open.

It's honestly sad the quality and the service that has changed with the new ownership. I am from New York and looked forward to having their bagel sandwich on the weekends. Now, they're calling customers as "the guy with the cowboy hat", "the couple", that person right there" and its almost insulting. Your customers should mean the world to you. They're what makes your business successful or not. They don't even take tickets to ensure name and correct order is made, hence not using anyone's name. When we were waiting for our sandwiches to be made because they ran out of cooked eggs on a Sunday, the skinny lady behind the counter burped out loud and didn't even care or say excuse me. They all work around not caring it seems like and couldn't really care if you were there. The owners wife has the same attitude. Just walks around doing her thing, versus making her customers feel welcome and happy to see them. It's sad to see all of these reviews how the quality has changed. As a business owner, I see an opportunity to open a bagel shop and provide the amazing quality and service I do with my other businesses and blow this one out of the water. This business has to remember they're not the only ones that can run a bagel place and people of 20 years coming to this place can and will stop. It's time for y'all to make it better or close it down. Such a shame.
