I am a victim of fraud and theft by deception. I reached out the DAs office and they told me to file a police report. I received an email rejected my case with the police. They told me it was a civil case. Does Tarrant County not have anyone who investigates fraud or white collar crimes? I literally gave the police proof of 4 victims and an individual Alan Paul Aguilera who stole over $60,000. The DA or police don’t care. I guess all I can do is sue and collect zero dollars or zero justice.

They are absolutely terrible. If you are a victim of family violence, you are better off seeking the assistance of a community-based or nonprofit victim services program. Marvina Nichelle Robinson was extremely out of line, insensitive, disrespectful, and accusatory. They want you near death or already dead before they take action. This so-called public service does not care about protecting you. They will only victimize you all over again.

Sharen Wilson is a disgrace & needs to retire! Unfair & unconstitutional in everything she does!

These people should not be handling domestic violence cases. They do not care about the victims. They care about winning. I'd make a better lawyer

The 5 years was for casting a provisional ballot (which was not counted) when she thought she was eligible to vote. Her parole officer testified that she did in fact believe she was eligible and it was an honest mistake. It was a complete miscarriage of justice, though I'm not sure how much leeway the DA had in the case. We have provisional ballots for a reason, so that if theirs a question it can investigated. It was investigated and determined she was ineligible to vote because she was not completely finished with her probation. Where someone intentionally votes multiple times or commits intentional voter fraud that's one thing but where someone clearly didn't intend to commit fraud and cast's a provisional ballot as happened in this case it's outrageous.
Yes. Sharen Wilson is one of the worst DAs in Texas and the US. There are so many DAs across the nation, and many are terrible, so I can’t say Wilson is the absolute worst, but she’s definitely in the Top 10 Worst DAs nationwide, in the Top 5 Worst DAs in Texas, and absolutely one of the most despicable human beings on the planet.
All that matters to Sharen Wilson is having as many convictions on her books as possible. She’s a terrible person, who conflates convictions with justice, equating convictions as a measure of her success. She doesn’t care who she harms or how many lives she ruins.
Hold the cop Haning, badge #2687 accountable for his actions. Enough is Enough Already
Yes, one can certainly be penalized for failure to appear in court when they’re incarcerated at another facility. Yes, Texas certainly does this. Tarrant County does this. Wise County does this. Parker County does this. Dallas County does this. And if the person’s bond has been paid but they’re not released in time to appear in the other court, their bond can be revoked and additional fees required to reinstate the bond once the mess is finally straightened out.
So does fort Worth
Yes. Due to the hotels discretion of the matter. If they do not allow visitors, the police can enforce the hotels rule if deemed necessary.
