I went to Alpine Licensing this week after purchasing a vehicle and was very happy with the service. The woman who helped me was kind and professional and answered all of my questions.

I’ve used Alpine for over 20 years. They’re always knowledgeable and polite. I’ve tried other agency’s and experienced the opposite whenever I venture out. Stick with Alpine Licensing and you’ll get your business done.

Stood outside for over half an hour. No seating available. Several people bypassed the line and walked straight in if they were able to do pre-work on the internet. However, not all DMV services allow for that convenience, so if you're among these, then you're destined to stand around for a while. Once inside, the lady at the counter was very nice and courteous. Some major issues arise from the insane price to register 2 vehicles after moving to this state. Closing in on $1,000 is beyond asinine, though not fully the fault of this business. Still worth 3/5 stars due to the good demeanor of the woman behind the desk.

Wow! I am a Personal Representative for an estate left behind by our Dad who passed away and ANY help at this time of need was appreciated - I received it at Alpine Licensing, specifically by Lisa Collins. She walked me through everything I needed to transfer titles for two vehicles and a boat. She made a HUGE difference in this stressful experience and established quick titles on the spot so that I could move one step closer to completing tasks associated as a PR. Thank you, Alpine Licensing for your availability and professional staff. You made a difference!

If it's a drivers license or passport, yes, it has to be current, but I think you have an 8 day grâce period after expiration date
I apply for driver license by mail and was very surprised because did appears my name appears WDL...... and then Federal limited apply please explain
The renewal notices are sent out from DOL in Olympia, not the individual sub-agencies. You do not need this renewal notice to renew your registration. Your expiration date is printed on your registration that you keep in your vehicle. You may renew online and select pick up (at an office of your choosing), or select mail out (and if you select our office we will mail them the same or next business day). Either way, you will have your tabs before Oct. 10th.
U wanna go to d.o.l in renton for your license /i.d alpine if for licensing vehicals and vessels.
No, you do not. Go here to submit it online. https://fortress.wa.gov/dol/extdriveses/NoLogon/_/
Yes. You must present additional residency documents when you file for the enhanced license.
Yes, they will be open on Saturday.

Open first and last Saturdays of the month so, yes!
If the title is in your name with an issue date of over seven years from a taxable state, you just need the title and a current Washington driver's license. If it is coming from a non-sales tax state, or you haven't owned it over seven years, you need proof of purchase and proof of sales tax paid. If you don't have proof of purchase you need a physical retail appraisal. If the weight is not registered on the title you need a certified scale weight. If you just bought it, you need the title and the bill of sale signed by the seller.
Alpine Licensing provides vehicle/vessel licensing services only. We do not issue driver's licenses.
Can i do driver writing test here ? If yes,can i do it with Vietnamese language?
Yes, you need to bring in the completed application filled out from the doctor (form can also be found on our website, but we would still need to be filled out by a doctor) and a prescription from the doctor, or if they don't have prescriptive authority, a letter on their office letterhead.
To get a replacement title you need the plate number of the vehicle and your current driver's license. Past registration is helpful but not required. All registered owners must be present.
No, you can register to vote in King County online at https://weiapplets.sos.wa.gov/MyVoteOLVR/MyVote/OLVR
The person taking ownership of the vehicle needs to come in. You'll need the title of the vehicle (properly signed off by the person coming off the title), and valid ID. Most transactions of this type are $37.50 but can vary depending on other variables. A new title will be issued through Olympia and will arrive at your address between 4-10 weeks. For a $50 additional fee you can get a quick title and walk out the door with it.
First, you will need a valid Washington State driver's license before you can transfer an out of state title. You have 30 days from when you move to Washington State to transfer the title.
We are closed on all federal holidays.

We are sorry you experienced difficulties at our office. Our clerks do not always sit at the same window, however it is possible that there was some work to finish up from the previous transaction before the next customer could be called.
