The bathroom has a constant scent of sewage or number two. The scent hits you as soon as you walk in every time. The side tables looks like juices from a male were still on it. Was here for almost a whole week and the cleaning people never came. Bed was never made and had to go get my own towels. When to the front desk multiple all they keep telling me is, the cleaning crew should have been there by now. No one has came to take out trash. When I asked what to do with my dirty towels they just tell me to throw them in the hall way. They got picked up the next day but I still didn't get my room cleaned. The string to pull up the second shade on the window is gone. So I can't even have complete sunlight in my room.

I've stayed at a LOT of IHG hotels over the years. This was definitely one of the lower tier spots I've stayed out. Mainly just due to the service alone. The room was great. Keep in mind you'll need to go back out to your vehicle and fill out/place a parking pass on your vehicle or it's getting towed. Lol

We've stayed at this McKinney/Frisco HIE over half a dozen times since it was built as we have family in the area we visit, but we prefer the complete comfort and rest we experience here time after time. EVERY TIME- I mean EVERY time- the staff, the rooms, housekeeping, breakfast, parking, peace and quiet are always spot on. While some HIE franchisees don't understand facility standards- the owners of this property are top-notch. They hire great, personable, sweet staff and you can tell they invest in ever so important aesthetics and don't allow things to fall into disrepair. The owners, management and staff of this location deserve serious kudos. We even have noticed that they keep on top of carpet steam cleaning and air filter checks- something I've seen ignored at luxury properties- but HIE Frisco/McKinney are wonderfully exceptional. We gladly return this location time after time due to the consistency in everything they do and are a tribute to the rest of the HIE system and definitely reflect well upon their IHG parent. Many thanks for being our home away from home for so many years- and years to come.

Positive: Room was very clean, spacious, no noise where I stayed on the third floor. Hot breakfast was provided. Plenty of towels, and the shower had no issues. Negative: only thing that would have made it better was having a restaurant or two within walking distance. its off the highway and almost into a suburb where they are building new apartments.
