The WORST internet in the world!!! Sure they are nice when you call but, the tech's are lazy liars. Its unfortunate that rural areas have no other options..

Very poor customer service. Called them to report internet issues on a Tuesday. Then it went out completely on Friday. They wouldn’t do anything about it. Went all weekend with no internet or TV. We will be getting aTV satellite service since Peoples is not reliable.

YES! They tell me it's normal and expected for my particular service plan, but it was much better before, and I started having trouble suddenly, so I don't buy their answer.
Elise, I called the Brenda, the representative that assisted you today for more details about your service inquiry. Just to clarify, that date is our first available appointment. We have had a large influx of service requests and unfortunately did not have an earlier appointment. Peoples does serve your area but due to the fact that tree coverage can impact service quality, we have to be onsite to confirm services. On that day we will do the installation, as long as we can get a strong signal at your location. I am very sorry for the long delay but we look forward to serving you. Joanna, I am very sorry that your fiancé is have connection issues. Peoples has a variety of technologies throughout our network. It would be best for him to contact the office to troubleshoot. As for splicing and previously laid fiber, like I mentioned, we have a variety of technologies. Some fiber to the home and other areas are fiber to the node. We also offer wireless technology. Yes, we use their dsl without a phone bundle with it. The service outside the city seems to be spotty and intermittent though... I'm paying for 20mbps, it typically stays around 12mbps.... and at night is struggling for 5 to just stream cable.
