Pastor Jeanne married my daughter and her wife a few years ago and did a wonderful job. The service was heartfelt and fun, and just what they wanted. More churches should be all inclusive.

I loved this church from day one. I needed a place to feel close to God and I drove past IUCC so many days that I just decided to walk in one Sunday. Not knowing a single person I was welcomed with open arms. Today it is family. I like it because you are not judged by not attending every week in person because we have Facebook live but when you do go back there is such a friendship to see how you have been. Just feels like a right place to be.

One of my critical steps along my personal journey was IUCC. They really live up to their billing as 'open and affirming' congregation, and that mantra has grown exponentially over time as relationships have grown even deeper. I cannot thank past and current leadership enough for that push over 15 years ago that first brought me into your family, and continues to be a beacon of love and light for me ever since. I have only resided in the nearby area for one year over that time, but I plan my trips to and through Steamwood just to attend and be a part of this magical place. Thank you everyone!!!
