It so sad to a call a place to ask a simple questions only to be transferred in the middle of your question (with no understanding of why or where you are being transferred because the phone rings with no answer). I called the Recorder's office and a rude lady did this to me today. I pay taxes which support her income only to be treat like this. I do not trust the positive reviews on this forum. If you do not like your job, quit, so someone who appreciates working will serve the public in a more kind way. One day you will have to stand before God and answer to how you treat his children. Be kind.

I emailed several departments because I wasn't sure which one I was supposed to contact to get a copy of my marriage certificate,Every one of them responded back to me helping direct me to where I needed to go,And after talking to the woman at the office to obtain a copy of it,She was very nice and polite and told me exactly what I needed to do to get it,It's Monday and I am just thankful and grateful for all of your fast responses and your kindness,Great job Lake County workers👍💞

May daughter was unfortunate to have left my keys n the bin where you come into door S2. When we went back to retrieve them no one was of any help. We back tracked to all the offices where we were n to no avail the keys were not found and was even told by a sheriff if you lost something in here you will never get it back. We looked for a while but eventually having to have my card towed to the dealership n replace my keys to my card and home totaling $800+. So for me each interaction I have had at this courthouse has been terrible and the staff is rude from beginning to end. With an exception of a couple of people that tried to assist me as much as they could.

6 feet apart.
They are closed today and will reopen tomorrow
This question does not make any sense. If you are asking if they have it closed off for covid.....call the office and find out.
Yes, you can inquire with the Lake County Auditor's Office to file and see if you meet the requirements.
Yes. You can still bond ppl out of the jail (it's obviously staffed 24/7), and there will still be police patrolling their districts...but as for the clerks/courts/animal control/etc, they're all closed til Tuesday at normal times.
Clerks office.
Good luck with that. These people are crooks, and probably already melted down your gun.
You file for exemptions on your taxes, which most people do in quicken...
