My 95-year-old mother, Betty Jane, has been an assisted living resident at Kirkland Crossings for over two years. It is no exaggeration when I say that all of their staff members put the welfare, care and safety of all the residents as their top priorities. The dedicated staff that I have come to know by their first names exhibit a genuine professionalism, warmth and kindness to my mother and her care. In the event of a health-related issue or concern, the staff is quick to reach out and contact me. Our family could not be more pleased with the environment at Kirkland Crossings - from the cleanliness of the facility to the landscaping of the grounds. There are many amenities available to the residents, some of which include religious services, laundry facilities, a beauty salon, and even a fitness center. They provide a monthly calendar of various social activities open to whomever cares to participate. Residents are given a menu listing the daily meal options for breakfast, lunch and dinner...and dessert! The kitchen staff deserves kudos for their delicious fare. I have witnessed first-hand all of the above because I am fortunate enough to be able to visit my mother several times a week, and these behaviors are their normal, high standard of care --- they are not faking it. I strongly recommend Kirkland Crossings for your loved one.

Negative stars are not an option. This place is being reported to the state! Their care and staff , actually no staff, and they don’t care! I wish I knew before, I put my loved one here!!! Don’t put your loved one here!!! They have many reported falls and injuries! They will charge you for services not rendered, and will increase your monthly costs. They don’t have the staff to provide the extra services and charge you for them anyway! The list goes on....

My MIL has Lewy Body Dementia and requires constant, intensive skilled caregiving to keep her redirected, calm and safe. We looked at several memory care facilities but Kirkland Crossings Arbor Memory Care was at the top of our list based on a stellar recommendation from a close friend whose three family members received excellent long term care at KC Arbor and Assisted Living some years ago. Our friend was right...I am 100% certain that there is no better memory care facility in our area than KC Arbor. Google the most desirable qualities of a memory care facility...contentment, homelike, autonomy (respect and dignity), amenities, plants/pets/children, excellent nutritious food, bedroom or suite, personalized care plan, additional assistance, social activities, good staff to resident ratio, good communication with family...KC Arbor has it all and more. We moved my MIL into KC Arbor during the challenging COVID pandemic and KC staff consideration and compassion made an extraordinarily difficult process as easy as possible for us. My MIL has been at KC Arbor for eight months now and we feel beyond satisfied, enormously grateful and hugely blessed to be part of the KC family. My MIL is a challenging memory care resident and yet the KC Arbor staff adore her...they excel at appreciating her positive qualities while patiently and lovingly accepting and working well with the difficult aspects of her nature and condition. Try as I might to come up with even one teensy complaint, I cannot. Unequivocally recommended.

We recently needed to find a new home for my mother. It was a hurried situation and very stressful. She had been living at Avalon Square previously and we had always been very happy with the staff and the care she received there. Unfortunately they did not have an opening with the level of care needed. So we researched Kirkland Crossings because they are owned by the same parent company, hoping their care and culture would be similar. Everyone there has been wonderful and they have helped make our move very easy during a difficult time. The staff genuinely seem to care about the residents. Our move was very organized and all of the staff was very helpful. My mother is settling in to her new home. Thank you to everyone at Kirkland Crossings (especially Katie :)

Yes, we allow cats in assisted living. Some guidelines apply such as the resident is fully responsible for taking care of the cat. There is also a $500 non-refundable pet deposit. Hope that helps! Pets are family!
