The best people in the world!

COMMUNICATION SUCKS. It takes up to 3 months to get an appointment. Doctors and staff don't return messages for days, weeks, sometimes never. I show up for an appointment and I'm told "the doctor cancelled, someone should have called you." The emergency department and mental health urgent care staff are fantastic, compassionate, and the most professional of them all.

The care that my Father-in-Law who is on the 7th floor at the VA has been exemplary! Everyone has been so kind and friendly, bent over backwards to answer questions or find someone that can, has been willing to accommodate my Father in Laws needs or wants and even the station nurses will say goodnight as you leave. This is the first time I have been to a VA hospital and I will be honest, I was not expecting such quality care. So thankful for this. Keep up the great work in a very challenging job!

Not perfect, but better than most VA hospitals I've been to. I was able to get appointments and prescriptions wothout any difficulty and received great care during ER visits. Anyways, most employees care about their patients and then you have employees there just for a pay check, just like anywhere else.

You will need a consult from your primary care provider. Currently, Ortho is on the 7th floor.
I have no idea Michael, I'm not a medical doctor. you would need to call your local VA and ask them. Or visit this website: https://www.va.gov/health-care/covid-19-vaccine Take care 😎
Wood National Cemetary is actually a seperate entity from the VAMC. They can provide you with the burial location.
All of your records, meds, etc. are available on myhealthvet.com. You can create an account if you don't have one. Then you have everything available whenever you need it. www.myhealth.va.gov
384 2000 hit 0 and the operator will answer and he will direct you
They have a program to volunteer to do just that. You need to pass some blood tests and interviews.
Not sure best to call them and ask for the schedule.
There are none on the 7th flr
I don't believe so. You can always go online and send documents.
The Greenhouse is the newest housing facility on the far east side of the campus. Heading north on Mitchell Blvd coming off National, you can see them on the right side on top of the hill. I'm not sure which street to take to get there. It's probably the 2nd or third street right turn on Mitchell coming off National.
The only avenue I know of is through your primary provider. Does the script offer refills, if not, your primary is the only option I am aware of.
Depend on what kind of discharge and if you are covered by VA. If you are below a certain economic level you can get dental help. You just have to make that first step to call.
Find out if you qualify by calling the medical center and when they set a appointment bring your DD-214.
They haven't said yet. Once I know when the start given it to patients that are not inside the hospital, I will let you know.
This weekend (16th - 17th) at the Milwaukee VA Clinic
Not sure. But theVA has contacts with people that DO.
Yes The Patriot Store is open 8AM until 3PM on Saturday and Sunday.
Not too sure about this question
Unless your friend is coming in for treatment.... probably not.
More than enough to take good care of you!
Sorry man I don't know how many beds it's got but overall it's awesome place to get care they take good care of us. They just took care of me and we beat bladder cancer they're the ones that did it
Sleep clinic is on the 5th floor in the A wing. Room is in the 5200's.
For the majority of issues with the VA they do the best they can with what's available. As someone stated, they are woefully underfunded. However they are better equipped than many other VA'S,so you should consider yourself fortunate at ZABLOCKI!!!
There are usually 2 to a room. I've been hospitalized there a few times and 2 out of 3 times I was by myself. Other than having a roommate it's very private.
Right in front
We have an annual Free Electronics Recycling event. This year, it will be on Tuesday, April 23rd from 7am-2pm at building 6.
Call VA medical center information and what your husband status is at the VA and what are his and yours benefits! You may have to go down there!
Primary Doctor have to refer you to Mental Health. Everything starts with the primary .
No

Yes they do. I will be having mine done shortly there.
Augreich if you don't mind.. i had a couple of a few photos and reviews you had made about MKE Cav Cem. Seem pretty knowledgeable and this happened to be the only way i found to try to ask about contacting you. 😉👍
I can't give a certain answer but if you are not already enrolled in eBenefits and MyHealtheVet do so. I'm enrolled in both. I've never tried to access billing information. Otherwise call billing and ask if you can do that electronically. Hope this helped.
You can mail them to the VA, just be sure to put his name in the c/o line and the building number he is residing in.
There is a V. A. Office on Greenfield Ave, about the 6300 block. First level of the new apartments. They can help and direct you with any questions you might have regarding all veterans benefits.
You would need to call them for specifics.
It's larger than most ive seen in hospitals. That being said, it seems to have less "get well" items but a heck of a lot of convince type items. They even have TVs and other electronics. There is no sales tax on any of the items either, so thats a big plus
The Hoptel is located in Building 123 on the VA grounds. All mail is routed through a single address for all VA offices. Address it as 5000 W National Ave. Building 123 Hoptel. Milwaukee WI 53295
