If I could give them a negative rating I would. Trying to get my education benefits. No communication as to what is needed or how to get correct paperwork will not help. Takes no responsibility

Worthless and lazy swine comes to mind. They claim to know nothing, but never miss a free meal for doing nothing all day = clerks and potato peelers are poor citizens, and obviously not the heroes the punks claim to be.

I hope you like slow, inattentive service.

It depends, I believe, on the reason behind leaving the Academy. For instance, if you were injured as the result of a training or exercise drill and had to be medically released from your Service obligation, I recall hearing that those circumstances could qualify for medical benefits. The best office to check with is your State Department of Veterans Affairs, or with Regional Office designated for your area with the Veterans Benefits Administration. If you received a DD-214, Certificate of Discharge, upon leaving the Academy, make sure you have that handy when you make the call. Hope this helps ... it's the extend off my third hand knowledge, best to check with your State VA and the VBA.
