Due to my advocacy and that of my providers- mainly Dr. Greenspan and Dr. Jessica Engle, the care I receive at this facility has gone from one star to five. The road was difficult and fraught with emotion. But now- I would not choose any civilian facility over this VA.

Casey Hoffman is by far the the worst therapist that the VA Hospital in Madison has ever had. I've love to go into details about my bad experiences with her, but it's just too many be to be said about her.. So, my main reasons why are as follows: she's inconsistent with the appointments, late to return back my messages, a very very bad liar, , very very defensive and argumentative with me when I am being honest about her professionalism, always made me feel so intimidated in the sessions…and etc…I hope this will be of help for others to give you a heads up about her… There are by far better therapists out there for sure. Don't think it's about you the reasons why you aren't getting along with her and it's her 100% at wrong. Good luck. AA • Q Casey Hoffman

Yes there is pain management clinic, but I don't know the telephone number. Just call the main hospital.
I'm sure you can. You may have to call ahead or go to the urgent care.
Hi Claire....I hope somebody has a legit answer for you. Go Badgers!
I'm not sure they dispense hearing aids at the Madison VA, better off calling the hospital for that information.
Don't know. Doctors come and go here alot. I had one prescribe me a forehead tens unit for headaches. Will do some checking for a name.
Yes, they give you a choice of several different frames, remember veterans and family of vets only. Please make an appointment first be patient and always wear your mask while visiting this great hospital!!
From the main entrance, head in to your right, past the Outpatient Pharmacy to the Star Elevators. Catch a ride down one floor to the G-Ground floor, and Starbucks is directly ahead as you step out of the elevator.
If you have Myhealthevet account you can message the Patient Advocate in the Main VA Hospital they Handel any problems there, at any annex and clinics in their region. You could also contact them by phone calling the main number at the hospital. They can help by routing you their and by giving you their direct number or extension there. Good luck. I’ve had to contact them for many different situations over there years and a lot the last three months. They always call you back after making your situation right. It usually only takes 48 hours max for tell you what they did for you and a contact name, number and/or ext to the person responsible for assisting you.
Parking area is marked in back right next to Emergency entrance.
How do I find out how to get on the list for the virus shots? I am 86 years old.
Contact the hospital switchboard
I'm not sure . My brother was in the hospital for 2 months. He's been there everyday since he got out Monday late afternoon doing tests amoung other things. They DO TAKE VERY GOOD CARE OF THEIR patients!! I LOVE the doctors and nurses there. My brother wouldn't be alive right now if it wasn't for there GREAT KNOWLEDGE.
Yes
You need to call and schedule a time.
10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
past the star elevators on the right hand side I believe
Be on the first floor behind the star elevators
It's the building back by the er entrance You can get there by the 3 Rd floor walk way
7 am
I have never waited over a half hour from any of my appointments
As a Veteran and a VA employee, I get all of my medical care there. You would need a referral from your Primary Care Provider.
Depends on your class 1-8
Mon-Fri 8:30 am-5:30pm https://www.madison.va.gov/services/pharmacy.asp
256-1901 will get you to the operator. They will direct you to urology. Thank You for serving with me.
3 rd floor A wing. Good luck
There is an endocrinology clinic at this VA
Ty but seriously in very concerned for a friend
Hmm, well they sure like to act as if they're doctor's because one pharmacist in particular keeps "interviewing" my father and deciding on her own to take him off of a medication he has been on for 27 years despite his practitioner putting him back on it the last time this pharmacist did that. Perhaps someone should let her know that her job is to sell drugs and not make recommendations for patients she knows nothing about. :)
Let me see if I can find out more for you and best wishes for a speedy recovery.
I don't believe so.
Sorry to hear about your lung problem, but thankful that the VA is giving you the transplant. Try calling patient services, at the VA. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
I would check with the ADRC. God Bless.
