Great finds here for all kinds of used furniture from couches, tables and other living room furniture to cabinets and items for the office. Product changes frequently and there's regular sales of furniture types so it's worthwhile to visit often The staff is friendly and helpful and it's really a welcome environment.

I bought a washing machine and so far it seems to work fine BUT....... it weights 213 pounds so I asked them to load it into the back of my pick up truck. I am 79 years old and handicapped. Once it was barely over the bumper I asked if they could push it forward into the truck bed. They told me NO! I had to do it myself.... I stood there flabbergasted....standing there leaning on my two canes I explained I had a heart condition and couldn't do it myself but they refused to even move it 24" further in! GO FIGURE!!!!!! I struggled for over a half hour at my peril.

This used to be my favorite place to get furniture in Bellingham, especially as a college student on a budget who loves to decorate. A year ago, they had amazing prices. Now it’s just ridiculous. They have a really cool coffee table worth maybe 100 bucks and it’s priced at 450 (originally 850 somehow)? For a used piece?? Another couch is 1,500??? It’s absolutely insane. They get this stuff for free, so it mark it up THAT high seems very gross to me

They are lovely to work with and most gracious when you bring your donations over. If you require a furniture pickup.... good luck! They provide a date when they will arrive but don’t come or call if they are late or worse not arrive at all! When you try to reschedule, no one is available to assist even though they provide an “assistance” phone number! So frustrating! Too bad, it’s lovely furniture and a perfectly operational ceiling fan!

I haven't seen a wood stove since I started volunteering so i think it's safe to say that Habitat for humanity doesn't carry wood stoves. I would recommend looking at Anderson fireplace and spas Everett

Do you have lay away if a person wants to purchase things but dont have enough money?

No, I am sorry at this time Habitat does not have a lay away plan. However, they will hold an item for 1 hour while in store and also Habitat will hold an item after its purchased for a good number of days depending on how many days you pay for. It is $2 per day/per item held. With our limited space for holding items, we like to encourage customers to pick up their items as soon as possible. :-)

They carry all sorts of appliances ranging from microwaves and toasters all the way up to stoves, fridges, and even from time to time industrial/commercial restraunt appliances. However, the staff and affiliate will encourage you to check in and check on what is avaliable as they are mostly a donation based organization.
