I have been a patient working with the South Lake Union team for 4 months now and have loved my experience. The whole team is kind, knowledgeable, and helpful to both each other and the patients. I had been struggling with chronic neck and back pain for over a year, seeing a different chiropractor providing adjustments only and occasional massages, but it was only a bandaid providing temporary relief…until I found Chiro One in South Lake Union (formally Lake Union Wellness) and everything changed. The program they lay out with physical therapy, traction, and Chiro adjustments really work wonders…as long as you’re committed to showing up for yourself and doing the work. Future you will thank you, trust me. 😃 I have been in physical therapy before and not followed through on the treatment plan, but this time felt different. The X-rays and milestone check-ins are really motivating, and I feel like the the whole staff is 100% committed to my success. The greatest gift is the empowerment and education to heal yourself as you are a co-creator in the process. It’s inspiring, and I can’t say enough good things about my experience. I went here after a rollover car accident. My back was out and I could barely move my neck. I also tried six weeks of PT. Unlike other chiro offices, they did X-rays and put me on a plan for recovery. After 3.5 months of appointments here, my neck started to move. And when my back went out again, it was the massage team and chiropractors here that fixed it -- not PT. Now that my neck is improving, my right shoulder is not in so much pain (Another issue.) I cannot say enough great things about the team here. It also has great energy, and they welcome dogs. :)

My experience with Lake Union Wellness has been excellent! I have been experiencing pain in my upper back and neck for a couple of years, and the only treatment my doctor recommended was NSAIDs. However, after the pain kept returning, I decided it was time to take another approach (for my back and kidneys). Impressively, during the consultation, Dr. Drake was very clear on how data and x-rays informed the diagnosis and treatment plan. He also provided a booklet explaining the results (and providing references). He was also very upfront about the cost and how he was willing to work with me. So far, the pain in my back and neck is improving, as is my posture. However, an unintended benefit to the treatment was the improvement of my old running injury from high school. After years of not being able to run for more than 5 minutes without pain, I have been able to run back and forth to my appointments. Finally, everyone who works at Lake Union is incredible. They are friendly and always make me feel welcome. I also appreciate that the scheduling is flexible.
