I finally found a doctor that UNDERSTOOD and ADDRESSED my concerns. I have had problems with heavy monthly cycles for 15+years. I was told that I had fibroids and after taking birth control for many years, the situation with the heavy bleeding improved for a while but over time, it got worse. The only alternative (option) that I was given by other doctors/OBGYN was to have a hysterectomy. This was not a feasible option for me but thanks to Dr. Handley, he gave me other options. I just had my procedure done on 5/16 and was able to go back to work in one week; I work from home primarily. His office staff are the best, very professional, caring, and all of staff, including Dr. Handley, answered all of my questions. I have seen the difference already. No heavy bleeding or cramps this month. If you want other options besides a hysterectomy, I would highly recommend to see Dr. Handley. I know I'm glad I did.

I came to Dr. Handley with 55+ year old legs with plenty of mileage. I was embarrassed to wear shorts, fatigued, and my varicose veins looked awful. What would they look like in the next decades? Would I be able to keep up with my kids or endure an all day Disney trip? Go to a public pool again? After establishing a treatment plan with Dr. H and some in office visits my legs look and feel great! He and ALL of his Staff are the best I have ever seen! They are friendly, knowledgeable, caring and attentive. Don’t put off needed treatment as I did for years. It was the best choice I could have ever made. THANK YOU TO ALL for my care and my future! Rated 11 out of 10 without a doubt. Jeff C.

I bought a Groupon for “The Skin Fix Med Spa“ but the address and phone number given were of this doctor at “FM Vein Center”. Even though from the start I insisted I was not there to visit with the doctor, the front desk lady and the practice manager, Jim, insisted I had to see the doctor in order to go on with my appointment with the esthetician. They took my insurance card, personal info, consent signatures, etc. I was taken in and once again when the doctor’s nurse came in I mentioned to her I wasn’t there to see the doctor. Then, and only then, this crazy push over stopped. The nurse walked me back to the front desk, and only then I was told that the esthetician’s office was in a separate suite walking out and around this doctor’s office. I felt scammed. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR.

I went in for some light schelotherapy, the staff is wonderful to include front office, nurse, and of course the Dr. I had a free consult in order to see if my insurance would cover the procedure. First and foremost he makes sure there is nothing medically significant going on that needs to be treated. In my case after having an ultrasound ony veins we found that my case was purely cosmetic. The Dr gave me a very fair price. Since I was a light treatment he priced it appropriately. Also I should mention he offers many in office cosmetic procedures on top of medically necessary procedures. I never felt rushed, I was given plenty of information, and the best part... I felt zero pain during the procedure without anesthetics. Oh and instantly I saw results, shorts here I come.

Yes, sclerotherapy is one of the most popular treatments for unsightly veins. During this treatment, we inject a solution into superficial blood vessels to eliminate them. Sclerotherapy may be done on veins in the arms and legs, but it can also be used on other areas of the body. With multiple treatments spaced about six weeks apart, it’s possible to eliminate as much as 80% of unwanted veins.

If your vein disorder has been causing pain and discomfort, you may seek medical attention as soon as possible. If you have visible veins, it’s important to get them treated as soon as you can, so they don’t become bigger and more difficult to treat. Medical treatment can include surgery to remove problematic veins. A non-invasive treatment option is sclerotherapy, in which a needle is used to inject a solution that causes unwanted veins to break down. Laser treatments use heat to break down problematic blood vessels.

Spider veins are small blood vessels that have become weakened and enlarged, causing blood to pool and become visible near the surface of the skin. Like varicose veins, this vein disorder can be a result of many factors such as standing or sitting for long periods, obesity, and high blood pressure. Problematic veins can develop anywhere on the body but are most commonly found on the legs. Although they do not pose serious health risks, many men and women seek medical treatment to restore their skin’s natural appearance. Early treatment can also prevent them from becoming worse and more numerous.

Many factors may contribute to their development, including genetics, age, pregnancy, and activity level. Disordered veins can also develop in a variety of ways, such as when blood vessels become enlarged due to pressure. Excess fluid in the tissues below the skin can also make superficial veins become visible. In some cases, disordered veins may be caused by an inherited condition.
