I filled out the paperwork then talked to "Jim" to see if he could help find job placement, it's going on 3 months now and everytime I call and see if there's anything available the only response I get from him is "Let me check and call you back" which he never does. If you need help finding a job quickly I would recommend trying a different staffing agency.

Was told that I was going to get a phone call back and never did. Everytime I been trying to get work was always given an excuse. The positions were always filled. I don't understand this staffing agency I don't have work and looking for a job. But no one will let me work.

While I was volunteering at another program, that program liaison offered me over to Goodwill Staffing to help out with a workload that was long overdue to finish. During that time, the Program Manager, Josh, was appreciative of my abilities and understanding of my then life-situation, and made the effort to have me placed in an intern position with the company. He was persevering and on top of everything to ensure my internship was possible. He’s so dedicated and professional, and constantly thinking outside of the box. Not even to just help the company specifically, but to ensure success and the well-being of our community and the people within it; trying to find a job for every person and a person for every job. Jim, the Recruiter, made me feel at home, right away. He’s very personable, amicable, and considerate. Alma, the Staffing Specialist, made sure I felt welcome as a part of the team, with her go-getter attitude and energetic personality. She’s constantly working hard to make sure everything stays together and the wheels turning. Martin, the Account Executive, whom is very intensely and enthusiastically involved in his work, also joined in in making sure I felt involved in the close-knit-team environment. The environment is like that of a home and a family you love to be around. Never having been with a temporary staffing agency except as a candidate, I did not really understand how the process worked. It was frustrating to watch candidates walk in and out without being able to be hired on the spot. As time went on, becoming more involved in the process, I was able to see what a delicate balance this field holds. Supply and demand are not always equal, and not everyone – candidate and client - is able to match each position’s needs and responsibilities. It’s always impressive to see how the team works diligently, independently and together, to ensure that both client and candidate are a good match (kind of like a match-maker for a dating service), and to establish and secure employment for candidates ASAP. This is one of the best environments I have ever worked in. The office is full of camaraderie, continuous dedication, ceaseless perseverance, unrelenting effort, awareness and regard, empathy – so on and so forth, every single day in the office – I never cease being amazed and surprised by this team’s abilities and determination.
