Lazy, dishonest, bullies. Greer & Associates' intake process is needlessly long and complex. They want each person to fill out forms on an online portal, where you will have to read multi page disclaimers for every type of service that they provide, no matter if it is what you are looking for. This took over an hour. They then sent a follow up email from Kelbi the admin, asking for each person's photo ID or they would cancel our appointment. When I questioned as to why we would need the a driver's license for each person their response was: "However, this is our policy. We must ensure that our clients are who they say they are, regardless of insurance billing." So I sent Kelbi my License to prove, I was not the kind of person who would sneak into a Doctors office under an assumed name. In the email I asked "now that you know who I am, will you please delete my ID." Kelbi responded they would need and would keep all members of a family's drivers license on file. When I asked why they needed to be kept, I was sent this email from Kelbi the admin: "Per our office policy we require all clients to keep an ID on file. I have deleted your ID from my email and we will be inactivating your client account. I hope you find services elsewhere. " At no point had I been rude or disrespectful, I had been asking for clarification on why they need all of this information. Instead of being able to explain why they have these policies, they will instead inactivate your account. In another review they responded with "Most, if not all insurance companies, state and Federal government rules, etc. require us to positively ID and keep/retain ID records of all current and future clients (family members)." As shown by the response above they are not sure why they may need it, or if it is even needed. They want people to send them all the information that they MAY need at some point in the future. In order to get this information they keep changing the story of why they need it, or what they are going to do with it. Instead of taking the time to explain why this is the policy, they will bully you into sending it with the threat of not allowing you to use the service. The therapist may be good, but the intake process (over ten forms to sign) and office staff can not be recommended.

Dr. Michele Greer was very good for our family and our youngest daughter. She was caring, truely concerned, and my husband and me just connected well with her. We saw other counselors in Frisco and they did not have the understanding that Dr. Greer had. We will stay with her as long as we can. She helped our family when others could not. I highly recommend Greer & Associates and Dr Michele Greer for counseling. It changed our lives and we are happy now.
