Kitchen and Bath Decor was the most professional, punctual, informative and knowledgeable kitchen designers and contractors. They put in such unique design work for our 3-D drawing. We knew that the future of our new kitchen remodel was in the best of hands. My my family and I have nothing but praise for them and everyone here. I am sure they will do an amazing job for anyone dreaming of a remodel.

We chose Kitchen and Bath Decor as our contractor for our kitchen remodel. It was a complete renovation, we had never done a major remodel so there were many questions to be answered first. We did get all the answers we needed they gave us a lot of flexibility and a insight into what the remodel would look like for us. The initial quote was very reasonable we had some trade-offs but we are very happy with the finished project. We love the results. It did finish on time and on budget. They are a great problem solver‘s the fabricators, cabinet builders and tile guys all worked hard and the results ended in the upmost highest quality workmanship.

Oh what a NIGHTMARE! We were assured and verbally promised that if we PAID IN FULL on the day of signing the contract (Sep 25, 2021), our bathrooms (master and secondary bathroom) would be done by the end of the year (2021). That did not happen. Celeste, the co-owner/manager, kept postponing and dragging out the demolition date all the way to March 1, 2022, with another promise that the master bathroom (9x11ft) would be finished within 4-6 weeks. It was such a hassle and an ordeal for our family.  We had to sleep on the sofa and clean up the house every day while it was under construction. Due to lack of coordination on their part, our master bathroom took 18 weeks to finish (end of June 2022). The final product/finish was not what we agreed on the original plan when we signed the contract. Beware, electrical, shower glass and bathroom hardwares were not included, we had to pay extra. Feeling frustrated and continuous postponement, we filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The first response from Celeste, co-owner/manager was threatening to file a lawsuit because she/her company had verbiage on the contract that prohibits the customer to post a negative review. Her tone changed when we pointed out the Consumer Review Fairness Act (CRFA). According to The Consumer Review Fairness Act, it is illegal for companies to include standardized provisions that threaten or penalize people for posting honest reviews. From the horrible nightmare experience and unreasonable delays, we chose not to have this company do the 2nd bathroom and requested a refund for it. It took them nearly 4 weeks (on an installment plan) to fully refund us $12,000. With that money, we hired someone else and have remodeled 2 bathrooms, instead of 1, with the same design as we wanted. Unbelievable.

We dropped by the Kitchen & Bath Decor showroom in May of 2021 looking to renovate a bathroom. 16 months later the renovations completed include 3 bathrooms (shower replacement in 2, all new counters, floors and decor) the kitchen & laundry room (counters, cabinets, floors) plus flooring throughout the main floor of the house. Needless to say we liked the work so much we kept adding to the scope. Their greatest strength is their design consulting. Celeste did an outstanding job providing ideas, alternatives including options to manage costs. Most of what we bought was not off the showroom floor, Celeste made available other options to best meet our needs. Materials and labor from this company are at the higher end of the scale but we feel we received good value for our money. From a cost perspective, what impressed us the most was the management of changes. Contractors will often take advantage of change orders with ridiculous margins but we felt we were treated very fairly. Any defects in materials or workmanship were promptly addressed. Our only complaint was schedule. Between Covid, supply chain issues and labor shortages, work start dates were often late (we understand the economic climate but patience is not our strength). Overall we would give Celeste, Jonathan and their teams a “5 of 5” rating, recognizing opportunity to improve on schedule management. D & T. Wright
