I have taken my dogs and cats here for almost 20 years and have always received great service. Both vets are friendly and knowledgeable. UPDATE: Yesterday, 9/20/2022, we had a minor emergency with one of my dogs, their schedule was full but they managed to squeeze us in. That's great service.

When one my dogs suddenly couldn't walk, I called several places but San Joaquin was able to squeeze me in same day. Dr. Alfaro is amazing. She didn't push unnecessary testing or treatments, explained the testing she recommended and possible medications while working within my budget. She took time to consult with an internal medicine specialist about our dogs complicated and confusing case to put her on the right medications. The staff got to know River on our several visits and thanks to Dr. Alfaro and them River began to walk again within a few days. Eight months later and I saw her try to jump for the first time the other day. I cannot thank Dr. Alfaro and staff enough for helping River.

I do not know, although I do know that companion animal vet on nees and Blackstone had very cheap vaccinations clinic, open to all animals (dogs and cat).every Saturday. I love San Joaquin vets. But I still use Companion hospital. What I am impressed with is this: How many veterinarians answer their own clinic phone at 730 in the morning? Well Dr Singh DOES and is a great vet. I still have a 2nd vet: with San Joaquin vets. So...... BOTTOM LINE: companion hospital for cheap, and by that, I mean very inexpensive, shots every Saturday in the mornings. including today.
