Great if you woul like to stay just a nicht. Clone to the airport and the Motor speedway. Room was not clean and the shower was dirty. Friendly Personal at checkin

Very strange place, it's more like a rental place then a hotel. One day 6am the fire alarm sounds, they told me someone took a hot shower, was really scurry. I'll never go there again.

No stars! Zero! None! I have to hit a star to post. This is one of the worst experiences I've had with any hotel. This is an extended stay hotel. There are resident's who actually live there long term. I was placed in a room on the first floor. In the room directly above me on the 2nd floor was a live-in resident with children. I was there 3 days. On the 4th day I checked out at 5:30 am. On my first day the resident above me was making noise (she and her children, more than one child). I called in a noise complaint, stomping on the floor, running back and forth, moving furniture etc. I ask the front desk clerk to address the matter and to move me if it doesn't stop. They phoned the room and the commotion stopped. As I checked my room I discovered that my deadbolt lock on the door did not work. I told the front desk and I was told it would be fixed the next day. I was there 3 days. It didn't get fixed. On my third day the noise started again. It went on for hours. I waited because I thought it would subside. It didn't stop. Finally I was so aggravated I went to the front desk again because I had to get up at 4:45 am the next morning. So a different clerk put me in a different room just for the night. Props to her. It was quiet and I was able to sleep in silence. When comparing complaints this one ranks among the most asinine. If you wanted extra towels YOU had to pay for them ($9.00) or use the washing machines located in the hotel. Here's the second kicker. I called Woodsprings corporate office to log a complain. I was transferred to the customer service department. I was put on hold and then the phone hung up. I called back. I went thru the same process. I was again transferred to customer service and put on hold. The phone hung up a second time. That's when I figured it was their end that was doing the hanging up. I am very disappointed with the hotel staff and the corporate headquarters for their lack of concern for my safety in one of their establishments. I was placed in a room on the 1st floor. My window was unlocked (which I locked) and my door lock didn't work. Post note..always check ALL entry points upon entering your hotel or motel to see if they're secure, especially the windows. I want this to serve as a reminder for everyone who decides to visit that particular hotel. Be vigilant!

I felt like I was staying in what I could only imagine government housing would feel like. Lots of transients outside, and many live-ins. There were cats in several of the cars outside the hotel, and the parking lot was dirty. On the bright side, the staff was very friendly and accommodating when we asked for extra bedding. However, we will not be staying here or any other WoodSpring Suites again.
