POOR COMMUNICATION!!! Contacted property about my interest on a home in chandler. 3510 W Carla Vista Dr Chandler AZ My first reach out was w/Mario Montoya, August 12th asked if the home was available and if we can tour it. His response: Available would you like to apply? Aug12th. I replied back saying yes, but would like to tour home first before applying. He Never got back. EVER. I contacted a lady named Ariana Jaynes. August 16th she replied back august 17th that was great! First she responded kindly to my email with info & the link, saw the house , and it was nice. So after I saw the house, I emailed Ariana back with my concerns and pictures of things I wasn’t too sure of and said if they would be repaired I would move in asap. -broken window on master bedroom. - gate was halfway done at the time. Now it’s completed , but still looks halfway completed. (Cheap fix) -no washer/dryer -no fridge. (didn’t expect them to provide) I was just curious. And guess what… I NEVER HEARD BACK! Till this day nothing, it is now August 26th . And the house is still on market. I just toured this morning again, and it still looks the same, just dirtier. Try cleaning the home if you want to make a first impression on renters , till it’s at least rented then it’s obviously the responsibility of the renter. (PS this is something they have no control over, I KNOW and this is not part of my RATING on the review. ITS COMMUNICATION! but the neighbors house to the right of the house, if you’re facing it… COMPLETE MESS!! I think that also kills peoples hope of living there)

left several emails. and inquiries to view a home. detailed email about wanting to tour a house on the website. the only response i got was that it was available, and go ahead and apply. you guys could work on communication!

When I applied I was told there was only one application ahead of mine. About two minutes later I was told that applicant canceled. Being the only applicant on the property, we followed through and was told that the owner would make a final decision. A week later, no updates...I decided to reach out. Later in the day I received a email saying the owner went with another applicant. I read this in some other reviews about how they will sit on apps untill something they like better comes into play, leaving you out of luck with other potential homes. There's no way to control discrimination in that pick and choose scenario. I made more then enough money, great rental history, credit is good, and they still waited untill they found someone else. Think twice about paying that high app fee! UPDATE: I just found out that I was denied for a false LOW credit score. I wasnt given any options to dispute the information at all. Now I have a complaint with the FTC against APPFOLIO regarding the incorrect information. Reported a score over 60 points less than my true experian score!
