We called 2 weeks prior to getting service...the repair man should have been out Wed., then got postponed to Thurs., then Friday of that week. When no one showed, I called and got a status, and it was pushed back til the next Friday. He actually showed on Thursday, but if I hadn't had a tiny refrigerator that my niece loaned me, I would have been up a creek withou8t any paddle!!! Too, because I'd gone through 2 hell weeks, he ended up playing on my fear and talked me into the insurance, which I don't want. Yes, he fixed the compressor to the tune of $800, which I felt was outrageous! I realize that the government has made it so easy for people to stay home and collect unemployment, so they don't want to work, I feel as if I am the victim here, and got robbed. When you call Sears Repair, you can't get anyone on the phone, which is totally frustrating.

They are horrible they canceled the appointment 4 time's.of course that means taking time out of my day each time they schedule a half day for each appointment. They talked you into this home warranty plan thinking that you're saving money honey used appliance it wasn't worth putting the money in. The repair guy left pieces and parts all over the floor is greasy fingerprints on the brand new wall in the garage. Did not put the appliance back where it was supposed to be where you found it. Horrible service I would not recommend them.

Technician showed up several hours late. He didn’t seem to understand the problem with the appliance and seemed to just fumble around for a solution. Finally, he concluded that it was “probably” the controller and didn’t know if the part was available. He said they would need to do some “research” on the part (Kenmore freezer; Sears Appliance Repair) and he would get back to me. Clearly, he just wanted an excuse to leave. I inquired about the “research” the following week. No response. Useless service. I shouldn’t have had to pay a $125 service fee for a visit from an incompetent technician.
