I moved out of Elan Heights before Greystar sold the property and then had my credit score hit two years later with a charge completely unexpected. I have tried to dispute it multiple times and have reported them to the BBB and FTC. Greystar/Elan have bad business practices and act in bad faith. Elan confirmed to me that my account was up to date after I moved out yet Greystar decided I owed them $3k. They sent one invoice two months after I moved out which I disputed via email and Greystar acknowledged. I never received another invoice, letter or email and was surprised two years later when my credit report was hit. DO NOT RENT FROM GREYSTAR. This property, Elan Memorial Park, is owned by Greystar so despite whatever the folks at Elan tell you, Greystar can and will charge you whatever they want after you move out. I urge you to look up Greystar's reviews and you will see 100's of similar stories from previous tenants.
