One of my favorite restaurants in downtown Houston. Beautiful ambiance. Great food. I love the steaks.

Great place in great server. The crusted red salmon was really good. Honestly go here. It was really good. The server was really nice.

My husband and I had a fantastic dinner last week at Hearsay. We were seated right away near the bar on a pretty busy weeknight, but the bar manager, Austin, immediately took care of us, suggesting a cocktail that I wouldn't normally order but that I really loved (it was their version of a French 75; I don't remember the name but it was gorgeous and delicious). He also suggested the jalapeno artichoke dip as an appetizer (which even passed the husband test...it was DIVINE) Our entrees were just as good: the spicy chicken sandwich and the braised short ribs. But the real stars were the staff, especially the bar manager Austin and our charming server, Max. Austin answered all our questions about the menu, the history of the building, and even threw in a couple of ghost stories that had happened there. He made us feel like we were the only table in what was a pretty busy restaurant -- and he was able to do that with ALL the tables there from what I could tell. I can't wait to go back and try their brunch menu (bread pudding french toast, anyone??)

I just had lunch there, so I would say yes.
There is metered street parking nearby or paid parking lots. It's is always an adventure in and amongst itself to get good parking downtown. Come prepared to walk a couple of blocks.
T-shirt and shoes are fine depending on the time of day. Stylish but casual is perfect
Yes starting at 11am till 3pm =)
Can you take a kid there? Yes. But it's not a spot that makes me think "kid friendly".
Lunch menu is very reasonable considering the location of the restaurant is downtown Houston. It's worth it to me. My co-workers and I are pretty regular patrons.
In addition to the upstairs area, they also accommodate groups downstairs (less private). Be sure to arrange well in advance if you can, as there are few times that I have been and a group didnt have upstairs booked.
