Hidden fees, locals must pay a fee for some absurd reason or another of $150.00 which is steep and not listed on the website anywhere! . I cleaned my room before I left, the owner lied about it being extra hard or whatever. I borrowed cleaning supplies and only left trash. Staff kinda stalks you and watches your every move which isnt to bad considering the lack of issues or drug addicts. Pet policy only extended to dogs so discrimination is ok with me I guess. The owner told me to leave my cat outside which was awful to know she was miserable outside, crying in the heat. But the rooms are clean, the staff is knowledgeable, Jimmy dean sandwiches for breakfast, hot tub has limited capacity and hours which is ridiculous considering those were stipulations made last year and should be changed back to normal. Very petty to respond back to these reviews with catty comments. Such as "your room took longer". Not even true. Just know I won't be back. Expensive for what I got and how I was treated..zero Minnesota nice. More military like.

Price was reasonable. Staff seemed friendly. There were a few cleanliness issues with the room itself (spatter on the toilet seat, a stain on part of the bedding and the ice bucket was dirty). Also the hot water was long in coming to the faucets. Overall, I guess you get what you pay for. I do appreciate the dog friendly accommodations, which was the main consideration in booking.

Negative: The "spa" is a hot tub in an extremely small room in the front lobby. If you were to go in it, you are on display for every guest that comes in the hotel. The room made me feel claustrophobic. Ground floor window opens fully which is absolutely not ok.

I stayed at this hotel a few times this month for work. The first 3 stays were good. I tried to stay here again last Friday but my card was declined. I hadn't had an issue before so I had them run it again, still didn't work. The counter person was getting irritated so I just stayed at a different hotel that night. Card worked fine. I has a previous reservation for Sunday. I got a call from the receptionist saying my card was declined for Sunday and I told her I would call her back. Instead of waiting for me to get done working and call back she decided to call and leave a VERY nasty and inappropriate voice-mail on my work phone. Their is NO way I should of been talked to in that manner. I understand people have bad days or whatever but I will not be treated like that. I will not be staying here again.
