On 8/29, we scheduled an appointment for 9/1 to get our washer fixed. We received a reminder on 8/30 and 8/31. We were not given a specific time just 8:00am to 5:00pm. On 9/1 at 9:10am we received a notice that our appointment had been rescheduled to 9/7. No explanation was given. We had changed my personal schedule as well as my son’s schedule so I could be here for the repair. This is unacceptable, especially with no explanation. I tried to call to get an explanation but only had an automated system. At 9:53 I received a message saying my appointment was confirmed for today, 9/7. Today is 9/1 not 9/7.

First, this Kenmore washer is 30 years old, first major problem, second service in life except for this last time. $89.00 service call, put on a $12.50 motor coupling I did not need. ..took 5 minutes, $233.02. Did not even subtract the $89.00 service charge. Washer doesn't work at all now. Then gave me an estimate of $600.00 for transmission. I have spoken to 10-12 people to get my money less 89.00 returned. Transfered, repeat story, different messages. One guy said he could not talk to me about a refund until they get the coupling returned. Another said they would fix it on 2-10, no service charge. Someone at Sears said I had someone else to fix it and cancelled the 2-10 service. Chat with Peyton and was told it was rescheduled for 2-7. Tech called on 2-7 and said you are not getting free service call. You need to pay for parts and service. First tech was on 2-4, second on 2-6. We have issued you a refund, 2-7. Check your bank . It is not there. Told by Sears person on 2-10, it will take 20-30 days for your refund. The repair address on Wllhite, Lexington is not the address for Sears Repair. ..does not exist. On 2-6, calked, asked for Customer Service, talked to Maria, Renee, Janet, Gary, Lloyd, Kathleen (thought it was concluded). The Kenmore appliances were great. Service when or if needed was also. Not now. It was nice while it lasted. Now, I need my refund and will go additional lengths to GET IT. Happy with my $2100 Speed Queen.
