I was waiting at the stop light at the corner of Broadway and Main St. in Owensville and because of construction during rush hour an officer was directing traffic at the light. He was waving through the eastbound traffic on Main St. then southbound and westbound. I was going northbound on Broadway so assumed it was our turn next as that direction was now backed up significantly. Well instead of letting us go he skipped our direction and went back to eastbound traffic. Many people were obviously upset and start beeping their horns which only made this officer smile and make us wait longer. There were several long gaps in traffic that allowed him to stop it but instead he just waved his hands even more dramatically while smiling the whole time. Not sure who this officer is but the fact that he thinks playing games is appropriate while people are waiting over 15 minutes to get home to their families after a long day's work is one of the most unprofessional things I've seen. I called and left a message complaining but I have little faith in tiny town police department accountability.
