Scheduled an appointment online fo myself and then also my bf one as well to get our taxes done. We got there and they were at least an hr behind. They asked us to leave our taxes and a few days later still aren't done. They would have been done that day had our appointment been kept. I don't know why you have to schedule an appointment if they can't even keep up with them. So obviously they allow too many to schedule in a day. And hopefully I get a discount for now having to wait to get them done and not when I scheduled to have them done. If your trying to get them done quick dont go here...that's for sure.

The irs has a site just for the amended returns. If u go to the website and punch in this yr and see this yrs tax info there should be a spot at the top for amended returns. Go to google punch in irs amended returns click on the first thread and then scroll down click on amended returns
Some people have already received a $1000 advance appointment setup. As for the Emerald advance, I'm not sure if that appointment setup is the same or different. Sorry, I couldn't be be helpful.
