I was able to get an appointment on the same day today at the UW Sports Medicine Clinic at the Stadium. The MA (medical assistant) who gathered my vital signs and other information was thorough, skillful, efficient, courteous and caring. The physician I saw, Brian Liem MD, was fully engaged in addressing the reason for my visit from the moment he walked in the room. His expertise was immediately evident and his ability to communicate his findings was exceptional. He double-checked to make certain my questions were addressed and that I felt comfortable with the plan of care. This was an A+ experience of medical care.

L&I hospital not here to help anyone. Refused to treat me because my injury is not covered by L&I.??? I went to them because I trusted University of Washington I am a Washingtonian. Now my case is being closed because they are incompetent to send a proper treatment plans. I have been referred to as many as three different clinics with no treatment they messed with my life so bad and I still have to limp around from my injury. Plus I am billed for all of the referrals I went to for help . This place doesn’t help only leave you frustrated and in pain

Great for athletes. They know how to work through and around injuries as well as the latest treatments. If you are a triathlete, runner, swimmer etc I highly recommend UW sportsmed. Being a competitive older athlete I’ve appreciated their ability to help me stay in shape working around over-use injuries and bike accident injuries. They offer a heart screening program aimed at athletes providing peace of mind to race hard. It’s just difficult to get in as they are in high demand.

I had a great experience here. There's a parking lot underneath that cost me $6 for a little over an hour. Folks at check in spoke clearly and were friendly. I arrived 5-10mins early and I was seen right at my appointment time. My medical assistant, Elle, was really nice and thorough with check in/check out. Dr. Krabak was kind and respectful and was thorough with his questions and the exam. He gave me lots of information about the next steps and what he thought was going on. Overall, everything went smoothly and it was exactly what I'd expect. I did spend probably 15-20mins waiting in the exam room but otherwise, the experience was ideal.

Hi Rick, You can find related articles on orthopedic treatment plans in our health library. From the home page's top navigation bar, click on 'resources', then select 'health library'. Another option is to select a care provider and make an appointment for a consultation. All best

Replacements are usually done by other specialists in the UW network, it would be good to call and request the name of the clinic. I have a hardware removal surgery in the works, and need my other knee replaced in the future. I was told by my surgeon, Dr Albert Gee in this clinic he would be sending a referral for my knee replacement. I hope this helps in your planning out your replacement. (it may possibly be the Hip & Joint Center, on Roosevelt, or another clinic, with surgery happening at UWMC Surgical Tower.)
