The persons that are to get you the service you need and ( expect) do so with a smile enjoy your experience with O'Reilly's

I had a check engine light on and decided to run up there for a quick diagnostic. There was an older guy with long gray hair who waited on me, he was unbelievably rude. It would have been better for him to simply say he did not want to help as opposed to what he did. Disrespectful tone of voice, raised his voice on a couple of occasions and did not plug the device in properly. Yanked the device out of my car and stomped off to go indoors without saying a word about why he wasn't able to get it to work. Again, if you don't feel like you're able to address an issue then tell me that, don't treat me like a punk. Won't ever go to an O'Reilly's again. Was able to go up the street and get it done by someone who was not only knew what they were doing but was polite about it.

I've always had great customer service. They know where everything is in the store and even do some of the work I need like a new washer blade. They've always been accommodating to my needs.

I went for a simple code check about 2pm one day last week... 4 customers in the store, 2 staff. 1 staff helping a person match up 3 belts.....for 10 minutes! The other staff person helping with a new brake drum....for 20 minutes....6 more clients came in...no staff said anything to any additional clients....one for windshield wash just gave up and walked out....another gave up and left...WHY take all day with each client while they measure....recheck..ask for more parts....call their buddy to check the part again...EVERYONE but the 2 at the counter were not even acknowledged much less helped...ok 20 minutes later line 1 for belts opened up after buying a 19 dollar mower belt....clerk takes next 2 which take 1 minute each....MY LINE STILL NOT MOVING with the brake drum guy camping at the counter....clerk 1 takes the next 2 people in his line while 2 others grumble in MY line and leave...FINALLY...when line 1 is empty....he takes me and the 3 behind me...all while brake drum guy is changing his home address to cashier station number 2......REALLY? Where is the training for these staff??????? And....nobody but me wearing a mask to protect against spreading Covid...
