I just recently got a Baldwin M from the 1950s. I got it from BHA piano center in Ohio. They went through it, inspected it, replaced the bass strings, and adjusted the action. Even though Dayton is nearly 4 hours from where I live, the price was much cheaper than any other Baldwin model M I have found closer to me and that included a professional delivery and set up as well as the first tuning in my home. It also has a 10 year warranty from them. It plays wonderfully and sounds great. The action feels like a quality piano and the bass sound is surprising for a baby grand. Even though it has a few scratches and the finish is not pristine, I like that it has a history. It fits in with the antiques I have in my home. I am very happy with this instrument.
