The tour is excellent. They use videos and photos taken while Orville was living in the house to help tell the stories of what occurred there. It was inspiring to think of the great people who had been in the very same rooms we were in.

Aeroplane flight or flight in general? Gustave Whitehead, of Bridgeport Connecticut, has a documented a more than a mile flight from Bridgeport to Fairfield on August 14, 1901. Climbing to a height of 50 feet. Almost 2 whole years before the Wright Brothers Kitty Hawk flights.
You can book a tour through Carillon Historical Park the hours of Carillon Park are 9:30 to 5 Monday through Saturday 12 to 5 on Sunday
