What is this, a thrift store for raccoons?! Really not into the whole “dig through the nasty, chaotic bins” scene. Bleak vibe.

Overall it's a fun experience but I don't appreciate the clerks the cashiers of not knowing how to properly way and price certain items because they tend to overcharge and they refused to even bag up your belongings even though I believe that's their job I do try to help to speed up the process but it's like some of them don't even want to even touch the items but overall it's a great and fun experience I wish the people at the shoes certain types of people not fog up all the shoes to themselves I believe there should be a certain cart minimum to avoid all certain one person of hogging all the shoes which it seems like half the time they don't even buy any of them sorry just the whole waste towards the other customers which in fact those shoes that are on bought get thrown in the shredder which is a sad thing to see

I do not suggest anyone come here that is a regular lolly-gagger or window shopper. This is not that type of a store. This is essentially dumpster diving with people that can and WILL make your trip miserable if you encroach on “their” territory. People buy things from here and resell them for hundreds to thousands, and as a result, they treat this like a 9-5 full time job. Dayton isn’t as cutthroat as other outlet stores I’ve heard of, but they do have cliques and employees that work under the table for them (the full timers). I don’t appreciate or accept the behavior, but that’s why I stopped coming here. It’s not worth the drive for 5 pounds of junk that I could maybe make $50 on. I’d rather work a normal job like the rest of society than pick on old ladies looking through bins.

Update 7/16/22- Went back in hopes of finding a cozy coupe as there were several last time. No luck. But since I made the drive I walked around. So very much vulture environment. There are people literally just sitting in chairs at the shoe bins doing nothing.... why? A grown woman was making bead necklaces sitting on a chair right in the aisle... this was just all so odd.. wasn't able to look at the shoes very well since everyone wants to camp there. Review remains at 3/5 Very underwhelming experience. Maybe I just wasn't there at a good time. Got a few things and price for it all wasn't bad at all but of everything I only found the few things. Some of the bins are kinda gross just to dig through literal junk. And people act like vultures waiting for new bins to come out, it's ridiculous. No real organization makes me so anxious and makes the experience worse. I can't see myself making the drive to do this again.

It looks about average. I've been going there for many years, and have never had a problem.
Yes. They have a dropoff spot right in front of the store.

No. No damage in this area. 15 min north was a lot of damage.
They do have sales, but very seldomly. i would follow the pricing in the previous answers. Great place to shop, and you really can't beat their prices!
