Went to switch title today, lady gives me a quote higher than I expected. Asked for fee details, she said there was an $88 late fee. I explained that we had just bought it, and the seller put 5-6-22 instead of 6-5-22 (like the rest of the planet does), and she replies with a totally inappropriate "Well how am I supposed to know that?" Only thing you're supposed to know is how to be cordial, but apparently you skipped that day at school.

My visit was fast, professional. All my questions were answered in straightforward manner.

I went in to get my tabs; I have been out of town for a couple years and so had a few questions. While asking the front desk gal, some frizzy haired unprofessional woman 3 windows over started yelling and rudely “answering” my questions. She lacked professionalism, and tact. Also mocked me. I filed a complaint to the state, I suggest all of you with a negative experience to do the same as well.

Most convenient and pleasurable experience I have ever had with vehicle tags in 16 years. Odd location inside of an Albertsons but fast and amazing service!!

Vehicle Licensing is open for walk in services.
Just bring in your ID and your license plate number! We can also try looking you up with just your ID, but by providing your license plate number it will be quicker.
Yes! You are able to renew tabs with a photo ID.
Our office does not require appointments. We resume normal business hours tomorrow.
You will need to show proof of Identity to do this. Get a new license and then tabs.
Yes. Come in with your plate number and we will be happy to help you.
This location only issues vehicle and vessel transactions. From what I am seeing my customers get a paper license until the actual license arrives in the mail. You can look for more information at www.dol.wa.gov.
If you are a Washington resident you will be required to have a Washington driver's license. Unless you are a military member.
There are restrictions when you only have a identification card and not a driver's license. When you don't have a driver's license, a title will be issued but not registration and plates.
This location services vehicle's, vessels and trailer's. Anything related to a personal identification or license is done at the driver's license locations or online.
We are for walk in services Money- Friday 9-6 and Saturday 9-2.
Thank you for reading out to us regarding your new purchase. Since there are many factors needed to for us to give you accurate information, I would recommend you contact our office during normal business hours so we can discuss ownership and costs.
If you purchased the vehicle out of state, the dealership will put a temp in your car and mail the ownership documents to your local license agent of your choice. Once it is received then you will come in and compete the process to get plated.
If you have a moment, please call us so we can get all the information regarding the circumstances.
Jenny, yes we can register your vehicle for Washington with proper documents. We are open today until 6 and closed New Year's day.
We don't do copies of the titles but currently we can do a duplicate title for $35.50 and have it shipped to your house or you can have one printed same day for $85.50. Either option will cancel the title and make it unusable.
The state offers ownership information by completing a vehicle record request and sending it to Department of Licensing Public Disclose unit. This form can be found on www.dol.wa.gov
Yes, you can still renew your registration online. I would suggest choosing the pick up option so you can receive them faster.
We do have a debit/credit available provided by the state. They charge a $2.25 fee for debit and $2.25 or 3%, whichever is greater, for credit.
Vehicle registrations differ from vehicle to where you live. Please call with the plate number and we will be able to tell you the amount due.
We are always open Fridays 9am-6pm. If you are referring to our closure the day after Thanksgiving, we were closed.
We do not issue drivers licenses at this office.
Unfortunately, we do not issue drivers licenses at this office.
The fee varies from person, physical address, and type of vehicle. The base fee for a transfer is $37.50 but when transferring a vehicle you are required to purchase plates and tabs as well at the time of transfer, as long as you have a valid Washington drivers license. Plus you may be subject to tax. To get an accurate quote, bring in your paperwork so we can run the transaction per your information.
This office does not deal with drivers licensing. Only vehicles.
We do not have a DMV in Washington. We have a Department of Licensing which is split between Drivers Licensing and Vehicle Licensing. We are open Monday- Friday 9am-6pm and Saturday 9am-2pm. Drivers Licensing hours are found on www.dol.wa.gov. .
LES if your military, and old tag information.
You would need an Affidavit in Lieu of title available for $12 at any vehicle subagency. Or you could use a Affidavit of Loss/Release of Interest, a form available for download at www.dol.wa.gov, and have it notarized. All of those will work as long as the buyer is registering it in Washington.
