So very grateful to this dedicated group of volunteers! Our train was 10 hours late and arrived at 4:45 am in a snow storm. The men stayed up all night waiting for us and didn’t shut down until every one of us had a ride out. I cannot express my gratitude enough!!❤️

Yes, this is small, staffed by volunteers, and not near any other businesses. However, this is the nicest stand alone Station that I have ever seen. The staff are very pleasant, caring, and helpful. The story about the stations creation is very inspirational.

This is a small rural train station staffed by volunteers. It has a clean bathroom with a warm inside waiting area. There are vending machines and a water fountain. Altogether a great place to wait for typically delayed trains.

Yes there are volunteers available. You can also call Amtrak on the phone. They are really helpful.
No.It is a volunteer staff only behind the counter.
I believe you have to go inside and get a key & rent the locker. I'm not 100% you can always call & ask. Someone is always there.
The Amtrak website for the station says okay to overnight parking.
Yes there's a bus stop outside the station
No. The closest stop is in Lacey, and the train wont take you to the airport.
Look on Amtrak Dot com that will be ur best bet
No, that's just how the trains run sometimes and when you by a ticket the terms state that you accept things like this. I'm sorry for your inconvenience.
Yes. All scheduled passenger trains that stop at Tacoma (TAC) - whether northbound or southbound - also stop at Olympia/Lacey (OLW).

Probably. The best way is to go to Amtrak.com and select your starting and ending destinations. Or to call the customer service number on Amtrak.com. The Lacey station is all volunteers operating the gate and making announcements.
The station's parking lots are actually a "park-and-ride" facility maintained by the local transit authority. Vehicles may be "parked" there (at the owner's risk) while the driver is away on a trip or short vacation, but they may not be "stored" there for an unusual period of time.
If you get caught consuming it, they will stop the train an kick you off.
