Loved this little place just of Greenlake. Great atmosphere and food. Popped in for something light to eat for a late lunch after a walk around the lake. Was expecting the wedge salad to be your typical quarter wedge or less.... It was half a head of lettuce and delicious. The smash Burger was juicy and messy, the way I like a burger to be, and cooked to perfection.

Great space by Green Lake. Tall ceilings and open on one side. The drinks were solid and the burger surprisingly cheap given the quality. So why two stars? The app-based ordering system was absolutely horrible. I appreciate that staffing is an issue nowadays and that apps help, but please, please get a better one! There are plenty of other options. The one used at Shelter, Union, was garbage. Why? 1) It forced you to download an actual app. A website would be sufficient. 2) It kept forgetting where you were meaning you had to take pictures of the QR code over and over. 3) It asked for permissions it didn't need. 4) It took no fewer than THREE verification texts to order a beer. Granted, my bank is partly at fault there, but still. Go to your local dive instead. They take cash.

Shelter Lounge is a very comfortable place to lounge around with great tasting dishes and satisfying portions. I highly recommend this place for a relaxed and extended lunch/brunch.

I had a very delicious brunch here yesterday with an Americano and Avocado Toast + Bacon. My friend had the Iced Tea with a Fried Chicken Sandwich. We both really enjoyed the space and the food.
