It's so great to see this chain still in business! The one near my house had closed, so I was happy to be able to go here and browse for new or used books. I bought 2 used books in very good condition. I also noticed that they sell CDs and LPs felt like I went back in time. I will definitely be going back.

Great service

I sell here all the time. Have use my physical ID and a Photo of it. I’ve sold using a photo of my Id here twice with 2 different sales representatives. When I went today they said they do not take photo IDs as I lost my physical one and haven’t had time to order a new one. Very disappointed after having sold here over 20 times and with the same ID on file. When I told the workers there today that they have taken a photo of my ID before they told me they didn’t and that wasn’t right. All I wanted to do was sell my books and I DID have my REAL ID just a photo of it (front and back). I won’t be coming back because of this and it makes me very upset.

Call them. I never thought of asking if they had these. Seriously some of the articles and cartoons to me are priceless. The June 1962 issue sold for over $4000 so check out the auctions 1st. https://www.therichest.com/rich-list/the-biggest/10-most-valuable-playboy-magazine-editions-of-all-time/
Books do not go for much. You can sell them on Ebay
HPB pays about a nickel on the dollar in terms of item value so if you have anything that might have decent value you should probably consider checking on EBay and Amazon first and selling the item yourself.
Dont know. Best to call and ask. If they don't have it, they can track it down and have it sent to a store near you.
You would be better off going to Videogames Then And Now. They would probably pay better and know the value of your PS3 and games better.
I think you'll need to phone them directly to get your answer to this.
They do sell retro games!
It was open one week ago
Call the store. I have seen tapes, records and dvd. Thrifts are great for vhs.
Wow. I was just there yesterday Does anyone know what happened?
Yes you could have your old books sold withing the store. Beyond books are old records, magazines, et al
I just went there over the weekend. They are at normal hours for shopping and selling.
Really cheap. I usually can get 3 books for about 20$, but it varies bases on the book. Their catalog is online with prices available if you want to check em out before
No, you have to call and make an appointment.
I don't. I typically look for music books
You failed to specify what time you mean by "right now". However, if you check the hours section, they list their hours as being 10 am to 8 pm Monday to Saturday and 11 am to 7 pm on Sundays.
According to their website they carry the series. Stock varies in individual stores. You can call this store but you will have to go in to look yourself. You probably will find what you wanted.
I'm not sure. When I was at the store I did notice a section for music.
Did you try a website search? You can try to call them to ask if they ship to this store . https://www.hpb.com/products?keywords=Books%20on%20royal%20lace%20Antique%20Glassware,%20cobalt
"Everything ever printed or recorded," is their slogan
Yes, but... Think about what condition they are in, price out what they would be sold for elsewhere. HPB is very convenient but may not offer what you could get if you sold them on your own. Especially if they are rare and in good condition. HPB like other used book stores often don't offer what you might expect. I would not want you to be disappointed.
It's a good place to look for
These forums are NOT generally monitored by the businessess but rather by their customers. Any specific questions such as yours would be best answered by a phone call directly to the store. Good luck!
I'm not sure of a bike rack specifically, but there is a large parking area as it is in a strip mall shopping centre, so I would assume there is some place for a bike to be chained to, if not a rack specifically for that.
Contact Half/Price books they should be able to tell you approximately over the phone.
