The website is confusing; I found a woman that responded to my job post, and she wound up telling me that I should find somebody else, because it could take a while before she would be 100% authorized to work for me! EDIT: ALL Independent Providers in WA state have to go through Consumer Direct, before they can start working for you.

These care providers have ZERO accountability. Out of the 21 care providers I emailed, only 3 kindly responded saying they declined the offer. I was appreciative, as that was professional. Two agreed to an interview and both no showed. People like that should not have access to this kind of platform. Or those that don’t have the common courtesy to follow through with a clients inquiries. They DONT follow up. They obviously don’t think they need to because they don’t have to answer to anyone, I’m assuming. This could be a very effective program for both those needing care and those that can provide it. There is just NO accountability for these providers. No one to answer to I guess. Unfortunate. At this point, don’t bother until some of these unprofessional providers can be weeded out.

It’s a nice idea but I’ve had very disappointing results. As other reviewers have noted providers not responding to direct messages is a problem . A simple “not interested” would suffice. The one that did come to interview agreed to the job and set a start date. After we had everything set up with our case manager she never showed up or called again and would not respond to my calls or messages.

I've had numerous people inquire to an add with zero follow through. May provide cell phone number but never return texts and or calls. Also have set up many interviews resulting in no shows no communication. I wish this app allowed us to rate people based on communication and follow through

When your client is in the hospital and under their care u Can not count the hours because they are no longer under your care but the hospital.I learned this when i took a client to the hospital from a casemanger. This is once they are admitted .
