I was checking in and overheard the patron in front of asking for two queen beds instead of a king. I had booked a double queen because I had some Expedia points that I used to offset the ridiculous price they were charging, of $500’ per night, and that was the only option available. I interjected and said I would Love to switch to make the family’s stay more comfortable since I didn’t need the other bed. The Sales manager was standing their a gruffly informed me sinced I booked threw a third party that was not possible? I was not asking for an upgrade just merely trying to be nice! Then I asked to speak with the manager and she also spoke to me in a condisending tone and repeated the same thing. Then to top it off the manager decided to call my room and Check on us and the loud phone woke my wife up from a nap as she was taking because she was feeling under the weather! Seems to me the manager has no real hospitality experience and just happens to work in a popular destination with a shortage of quality hotels! I will never return to this hotel again. In these stressful economic times people should learn to be more kind and accommodating!

Positive: Clean, comfy, spacious rooms. Staff was excellent. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Negative: I had to leave it. Stayed in a West Glacier Lodge that was a huge disappointment.

The rooms are exquisite and clean. The bathrooms are generous also. They offer a delicious, complimentary breakfast that partially comes out at 3:45 am to accommodate those catching early flights. Their outside fire pit is a great place to sit around and warm your bones while sipping on coffee. An absolutely beautiful place to stay.

Very nice hotel. We've stayed here since it was brand new. The sofa was a bit droopy in the center, but the bed was nice. We stayed for a medical procedure, so the living room was where we spent the most time. We did bring our Labrador, who is very well behaved. The $40 fee is quite a lot though. Oh well, it was worth it to be able to bring her along. We will stay here again!
