We were scheduled to receive in an in-home estimate, scheduled today at 8am. My wife took off work to meet with Dave. A hour after the schedule appointment. I called Dave. His excuse was that he was at another job site. I inquired as to what time he arrived at the job site. He stumbled over his words and then replied at 7am. I asked Dave that if he knew at 7am that he would not make the 8am appointment, why did he not simply call out of professional courtesy versus sending a text message 55 minutes after he was due to arrive. He had no answers. Unprofessional, unreliable and not respectful of others time. If you can not trust a person's word, how can you trust their work. A waste of time dealing with these people.

Amazing experience and phenomenal job! First the quote over the phone was painless, immediate, and helped avoid wasting time. The price they gave me was very competitive and fair. They came out on a really short notice and did a phenomenal job! Showed up first thing in the morning and were out within a few hours. Closed cell foam every inch possible of my basement and did meticulous work. I couldn't have hired a better company for this job.

In some cases, insulation can be added over existing layers, but there are times when insulation should be removed completely. For instance, when insulation is old or damaged (by mold, insects, water, fire, etc.), it should be immediately replaced.
Hello, David! Great question. Yes, foam can be painted.
The ideal way to know where to insulate in your home is to talk to experienced insulation contractors. These professionals would be able to guide you best on which part of your house needs insulation, and how to go about it. Moreover, it’s always a better idea to trust an expert to do the job. In general, you’d want to insulate around these places in your home : Attic Walls Basement Crawl spaces Floors (particularly above vented crawl spaces) Ceilings Around ductwork and piping, etc.
The time to complete the job and cost break-downs are listed in the estimate which you will receive from us. In some cases, we may encounter technical hurdles along the way, which might lead to a longer timeline to complete the job. Still, the price should not be in question when you have acknowledged the estimate.
An evaluation can take anywhere from 10-15 minutes or last longer depending on any questions you may have.
Yes. Insulation is an effective way to reduce unwanted sound, and it’s commonly used to provide a more comfortable indoor environment. Insulation efficiently reduces noise transmission through floors, and interior-exterior walls. We can help you select the ideal insulation set-up for your home needs.
The higher the R-value of insulation material, the more effective it is at blocking energy loss. Common types of insulation, such as rock wool and fiberglass, still allow air and water vapor to pass through, resulting in average R-values of 3.0 or lower. However, foam insulation tends to offer R-values ranging between 3.7 and 6.0, depending on the formulation you use. As a result, it can improve your home's efficiency better than other solutions, allowing you to save more over time.
The main difference between spray foam insulation and more traditional forms of insulation like fiberglass or cellulose is that spray foam insulation is an air barrier and thermal barrier all in one (with closed cell spray foam even offering a moisture barrier as well). This means that spray foam insulation does the job of providing insulation and air sealing with one product, whereas traditional forms of insulation do not provide any barrier to the flow of air. This is important for establishing a continuous and complete thermal/air barrier with the building envelope
ASAP. The earlier you do your roof coating, the better. Roof coating is a great preventative measure to take. A new roof replacement is costly, so it’s best to think long term. A roof replacement typically lasts around 25 years. What if you could get an extra 10-20 years out of your roof for about 75% less than a roof replacement? Some minor repairs may need to be made before your coating though. If you have potential repair concerns, let us know your situation here: https://ecotecfoamandcoatings.com/get-a-quote/
Each situation has its own unique challenges that cause the prices to fluctuate. We compete with all the viable and high performing commercial roofing systems.
Based on long-term histories, typically the roof life of a properly applied roof coating can be extended up to 10 years or more. Performance can vary depending on type and conditions, as well as the coating film thickness.
Almost all types of roofs can be coated. Some examples include metal, spray polyurethane, single-ply, modified bitumen, Built-up roof (BUR) systems, etc. Without special treatments, ballasted and gravel surfaced membranes are not typically acceptable roof surfaces for coating membranes.
