Dr. Alejandra Ullauri is amazing. She is competent and caring. Her exam is very complete and she explains procedures very well. I like that she works with Audiology students and explains things to them. My new hearing aids are comfortable and function very well. She is the best Audiologist I have ever seem. Healthcare truly benefits by having such a wonderful person in it.

I bought a set of hearing aids from Chicago Hearing Care after being nudged by my wife. Turned out that I really was missing some sounds, mainly in the upper register. Dr. Ullauri spent a lot of time carefully measuring my hearing loss & explaining to me what it mean. She advised me on which hearing aids to buy, given the nature & extent of my hearing loss, and taking into account the environments in which I would be using them. I came back for several sessions where the hearing aids were adjusted to my needs based on my actual experience using them. At times, she adjusted the inputs, then sent me on a walk around the neighborhood to try them out while she waited. Dr. Ullauri was patient with my questions, answering in the detail I wanted, and was very helpful in working with me to get them set up in light of my needs - which in my case, includes listening to live classical music, and a good deal of listening to audiobooks & podcasts while walking on noisy city sidewalks. (I was a lawyer before I retired, so I'm sure I asked a lot more questions than her usual client.) And in one instance, I needed some help in pairing my hearing aids to my iPhone, so just popped in at lunch without an appointment and she immediately helped me out.
