I’m going to give 5 stars because 99 percent of there products are fantastic but this is now my 2 load of there 3 way roughly 8 yards total( I’ve done 140 plus yards this year) this last stuff is horrible. It’s not 3 way. The last 4 yards I found large chucks of metal, rags and massive rocks. This round of 4 yards still had the huge rocks 3-6 inch rocks and a 2 foot plus concrete stake, and what looked like 1 foot nails? I love Walrath they are a great local company but I don’t think I can use them for my 3 way top soil. It’s fill dirt at best.

The first time I went to Walrath 2days ago I purchased cedar chips. Got home to spread them and discovered the loader dug deep in the ground and loaded a lot of dirt, mud and muddy cedar chips. Didn't discover this until i started offloading. Called them up and they said bring it back and we will offload it and replace. Sounds good right? Yeah until you consider the two hours wasted making two trips plus the gas. In the end a losing day for me. They got 3 stars only because they replaced it.

I love this place. The plants are in great condition and arranged so beautifully that I can easily picture them in my landscape. Gigi is very knowledgable and very helpful. The prices are better than everywhere else for landscape material. It's a fun and happy place to shop for plants, landscape rocks and compost. If you need an idea or some inspiration, head to Walrath!

I’ve always received friendly and efficient service here. I get gravel and topsoil here a half dozen or more times a year, and I also rented one of their track loaders (it was a great machine at a reasonable price). However, you really know the quality of service when someone messes up, because you can see what the company does to fix it. In my case, Walrath’s went above and beyond to remediate a couple of problems (a truck driver ran into my picnic table, and an office person billed me for the wrong amount for a topsoil delivery). I was really impressed at how willing they were to take care of these problems so promptly and courteously.
