For the first time in my Senior years I experience Elder Abuse by Bullying from the Colorado Eye Center Mgr ( Judy ). She was very evasive on giving her name. I will miss seeing Dr Barajas OD, who replaced the best doctor there Dr Hagen. What I was asking was someone to explain a couple of contested billings. ( All my visits and billing is are their computer ) In June I received a very large bill of $ 400.00 on a procedure performed by Dr Stewart who is another provider. I called the office and challenged why Medicare and I was being billed. The young lady I spoke to said It will be removed at once, which I thought they did. In September a couple days ago I received a billing that had the same medical code, Medicare had apparently paid most of that invoice. When I questioned why these bill were send and could they check the computer and please explain. The Office Mgr after evading the question said I was disruptive and I had to leave or she would involve the police. I was asking for explanations in a business like calm manner, however she did involve the police. She seems stressed and was apparently not capable of explaining questionable invoices. I would really like to talk with the corporate owner of this business. To track my charges to Medicare as well as to me I must have specific information regarding specific services Colorado preformed on my eyes. The office manager said they had no information and I must talk to the billing company, Medicare said I need to get this from Colorado Eye Center to track the service performed as the billing company did not generate the charge. The office manager denied the information and told me to just pay the $ 23.00. This has not given me a way to find information. The office manager said I was disruptive, she refused to even listen to the details I needed. Her mean streak and involving the police has driven a divide between my family's doctors. All the discussions were done in a calm and business manner on both of our parts. (9/6/22 ) NOTE ADDITIONAL Note : I worked through the billing company and they advised Colorado Eye Center DOES file and add the medical code and failed to bill my supplemental policy. This was a BLATANT LIE the office manage told me. Based on her lie and my asking for additional information ( Which she had in house ) she denied me the information that it was on their computer, she then and involved the Police.

You initially receive great service after discussing your requirements but after and or post questions ie status of delivery, receiving a copy of receipt and so on, they are all non responsive and NEVER, get back to you. Post outcome is very unprofessional.

I did my annual work eye exam this Tuesday. The optometry department has their ship together. Very nice staff in the entire facility.. Highly recommended! Turn in and park close to Midway (street facing front door), handicap parking is near there.. Super enjoyable overall experience.

Dr. Gary Holtzman and Stacy were both so friendly and thorough in my eye exam. The receptionist was also great. I will trust them for future visits.
