Most painless D.O.L. experience I have ever had. In and out in less than 15min, with a brand new enhanced license ordered and a temporary in hand. I was a walk-in; I hadn't scheduled an appointment. They weren't slammed, but it was far from empty. Highly recommend this office for their polite and efficient customer service!

Wow, best experience I’ve ever had at a DMV! Walked in at 8:30, got everything done, walked out at 8:37. I came from Texas and spent at least an hour or two each time at the DMV there so this is absolutely unheard of lol

Hands down the best DMV experience. As of June 2022, They are currently taking walk-ins without appointments. I met with 2 staffs to enhance my WA driver license. You go in, immediately greeted by a front desk person clerk who gives you a number. You look at the TV for your number to match the agents station. The two agents were extremely patient, respectful and knowledgeable. It was a seamless and easy going experience. I was in & out in 15 mins. If you go on a slow day, you wait 2-3 minutes. Since an enhanced license requires governmental documentation, check online for the list of accepted documents. I recently moved, so it was a headache since none of my address weren't updated yet, so that was a hassle... Also they'll retake your photos 🌝 One of the more senior agents told me that it is worth it to pay that extra amount to get the license enhanced; as it takes 3 months to replace your passport book and only 2-3 weeks for a driver license when you're doing domestic flights after May 5th, 2023. Washington Enhanced License also allows you to travel to Canada and Mexico by land or sea. Good luck! 8 years for only $107.12 (with taxes, fee, and credit transaction)

Great experience getting my real ID here today. Service was under 10 minutes and staff helped me sort out needed paperwork even though I didn’t have it all with me and we got it done.

Your old license or some form of government issued identification
Call and ask
Yes! Just make sure you bring the right documents.
It depends on the day and time, but I was in and out in less than 20 minutes.
You should make an appointment or else if you just walk-in it might be full, I was there 2 days back and they sent back couple of people without walk-ins to come back with an appointment
About 30-45 minutes in the afternoon
No, this office does not. That office is Bel Red Auto License ... 15600 NE 8th St, Bellevue, 98008. Crossroads.
Only knowledge test is offer here. Road Test is usually done by accredited driving schools, they also offer knowledge test as a bundle.
Yes
Proof of residency, social security card, birth certificate I think, passport and proof legal status also helpful plus your old license are main items. It's easier in WA than in other states really
Not last time when I was there. Check the website 🤷🏻♂️
You just need a local valid address proof. Go through the WA DMV site and you will find more info about it
I think they do but I'm not 100% sure.
Not sure. Check out the DOL website. They'll have the answer to your question.
You can do it online if you already have a license from another state
If you're a parent bring all your information and proof of residency and social security card for your child and maybe birth certificate just in case
Take in your birth certificate and any from of id that you have they will help you get started
Yes, you could get the license from this location. During the current times you need to get an appointment online and select the Redmond location.
Yes but they were recommending appointments....not sure about now that the state is open
Yes. This place is open but you need to book an appointment from the DMV website.
No they will refer you to Crossroads or other locations where you get tabs.
Yes you have to go to a driving school thought I would suggest the 911 Driving School
they are closed indefinitely, good luck
Hi there...doesn't say on door when it will reopen. Just gives a phone number and website to get some assistance.
I waited no more than 15 min.
You can find all requirements at https://www.dol.wa.gov/driverslicense/gettingidcard.html
Yes, it's closed. The new location is 7225 170th Ave NE; Redmond WA 98052.
They should communicate to you when they are ready for pick up using the contact information you provided. For me, this was an email.
Read this please: https://www.dol.wa.gov/driverslicense/moving.html
Just her permit is enough. The school should have already put the rest of the info into the system so you have nothing to worry about.
Not more than an hour
An enhanced driver's license is a real license you don't need another
They are closing this location next month. I hear they arriving to Redmond area.
No, this is only for driver license. For car registration is a completely different office. For car registration there is a office in the back of crossroads mall near the theater.
Hi Jenny, Could you please tell me what are some acceptable documents for proof of address? I heard copy of lease does'nt work?
The only difference for renewing over 70 is that you need to renew in-person at the office, and not online. Other than that, it's the standard renewal process.
All the Information is in the website for what this location offers. They offer computer test for CDL testing and testing for first time license. I would suggest calling them or check the website for what you need.
Here is the relevant information from the DOL: https://www.dol.wa.gov/vehicleregistration/moving.html Fees will vary.
Car tabs are done at a different office. They only do drivers licenses here. Discover passes should be able to be done at the same location as your tabs.
You can change your address online. If you want to have a license with your new address you will have to go in and get a newer license.
No, just take ur ID and SSN
Yes
You pre-apply on line if getting your first license or permit. And then you schedule your test. Check info online for fees, hours, training www.dol.wa.gov/driverslicense/writtentest
Visit the dmv website and look at the requirements to get a replacement license including cost and identification required. If you have questions they do have a phone number and online chat. This office is,very helpful but don't waste your time by arriving without proper paperwork.
The dmv website is excellent both in explaining what the requirements are and also the documentation needed. It depends on age, residency. Whether it is a first time or move. Be sure to check at webdite, see where you fit in, and then determine which docs to bring - oh and fees!
I don't believe you can take the test here. You can take it at Bellevue 911 driving school for $29.45 (I got $4.45 refunded, not sure why). The fee is valid for upto 3 attempts on the same day. I walked in around 11:30 am and was welcomed. You do need your pre-apply at the DOL website and register for the test with that number.
Yes it is.
Yes but with so many other options out there at driving schools, why? All of the 911 driving school chains do knowledge and road testing..
Debit and credit cards have $2 fee. But cash doesn't. You would need 2 ID proofs from their list. I took passport and my old driving license.
What kind of ID I have to bring with me for my diver license renew? And how much it cost?
No, but you need to get there early. They have a waitlist.
I went at 9 on a Monday at it was practically empty. We were done in 20 min
Cash or card, not sure tho
I was able to do this online on wash dot website
