Usually love this theater but this last time I went is making me question going back. Went to a movie, which was supposed to be a thriller/scary movie. Previews start, lights dim a little. Actual movie starts, light don't dim any further. Went out and asked if they just forgot? A lady said she'sll mention it. Nothing changed. Had to watch this movie with lights shining on my face. Had just gone a few weeks ago and the lights weren't like that. Asked again on the way out an another person said it's because they allow alcohol in the theater and it's for that. When I was there 2 weeks ago it was the same kind of theater but it wasn't that bright.....if you're going to have "alcohol lights" maybe mention that if you select that theater. Paying good money to watch a thriller movie with the lights on is not fun.

Went at night to see a horror flick. Lights were on as the movie hadn't started. Movie starts, lights still dont go off. Wait a bit, not dimming. My daughter went to complain, nothing. I finally go to complain, and they inform me that they are drinking lights for the theaters that serve alcohol. What the heck are drinking lights?! Are they so the drunks don't fall down the stairs? And if that's the case, why would you put a scary movie in one of those theaters? Scary movies are made for the dark! I wouldn't have wasted 58.50 on 2 tickets, 2 sodas and a large popcorn if I had known. Totally ruined the experience.

Become a member and take advantage of discount Tuesdays! The kids and I have made it one of our favorite activities. Today they got their homework done, in the car, on the way home from swim lessons, to make sure we wouldn't be late! Mom win! 4 stars because of the prices and the fact that I had to come back 2x to check on my food and show ID to order wine when the previous service rep didn't ring me up for it in the first place... anyway, just a little salty lol! Overall great place to spend money and family time together.

I have lived here long enough to remember when Galaxy was being built. I am grateful for a hometown theater. The staff is always nice and the popcorn is fabulous. Unfortunately like many theaters it's definitely starting to show its age and could probably benefit with a deep clean if not a remodel. Seats tend to be worn and definitely in need of some WD 40. I know that's got to be a very expensive endeavor and one which may be next impossible to do right now. I appreciate the variety of choices and niche and classic movies that are sometimes shown. I love the enormous parking lot and good sized lobby. I will continue to support and hope that they might be able to upgrade and update in the future.

Darkest hour I saw on the list, other I'm not sure about
We ordered our tickets on line, you can purchase at the concession counter.
Their promotional rate right now is $99, you provide the bluray, and can have up to 20 people.
They have a drive in theater right now. I'm not sure when they will be open
Yes, they have ticket purchases on their website. There is a small fee for doing so
The current General Manager of the Monroe Galaxy Theater (Jill Appleton) has stated that a Matinee is any showtime that is before 4:00 pm.
I believe the last movie starts about 10 pm. Go on line and see wh as t movies are playing
Tickets to Judy will start showing at the Galaxy Monroe starting at 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 3rd, 2019. More showing times will be available on Friday, Oct. 4th.

Nope
No. Galaxy theaters and Regal Cinemas are not related
Not sure look online
This theater is no longer playing the mule. However there is a great list of other movies to choose from
That's stupid. It was just released December 18th. Why is the Grinch still showing if it's just because it's an older movie
The grinch is still playing at galaxy monroe. It has fewer show times because it's been in the theater for a while. Tuesday jan 8th showtimes are 1020am, 1235am, and 530pm.
Flashback cinema!
They do have 10am shows. On the website they only show the upcoming times not the past ones. Pick a different day and you can see all the showtimes for that day
This is a public forum for asking general questions this is not connected to the business. I strongly recommend that you contact the theater directly
Just over ten dollars, depending on time of showing and such
you can look this up on their website! All the same stuff as during the regular week. Merry Christmas!
All day Tuesday they have a special costs only $6.50 for everyone. Other days, not sure.
5pm
Going to their website, which is linked to Google Maps, or calling them is the easiest way to get that kind of information.
Not all of the movies support Dbox. You don't have to reserve seating but during the first weekend of the release it helps. Especially if you want to make sure you sit together with your group. I should also point out that the Dbox seats are only in certain theatres.
DBox is $18.50 for matinee, regular $10.50
Adult matinee is $10.50 and a child (2-11 years) is$10.00. This is according to the application on my phone
Usually give them to staff, but i think you can request it from management
ADA compliant
Check Gallaxy web site for all movie times
