Great location as it’s right on the Post Road, not far from I-95, and close to Hammonasset State Park. There’s indoor seating, bar seating and outdoor seating. The staff was friendly and attentive. Good selection of food choices as well as a few specials. There’s also a childrens menu. It’s a full bar so a good selection of wine beer and mixed drinks.

Love Donahues. We eat here almost every week and love everything we’ve ordered. I’ve not had a bad experience nor bad meal ever here. Can’t say enough good about this restaurant.

We stopped here after a day at the Beach. Donahue's in Madison Connecticut. The inside was very nice and the would normally have live music, but due to the Pandemic it has been put on hold until the pandemic is deemed over. I wish I had pictures of the inside. We opted for outdoor seating since the weather was nice. To start we ordered Calamari as an appetizer, and I had a few pints of Guinness. My wife and I each had the fish and chips and Clam Chowder. All were well made. My son had a bacon cheeseburger with fries which he quickly ate. Icecream for dessert. The staff were very friendly and attentive. If you are in Madison, Connecticut stop in. 1320 Boston Post Road
