My wife and I visit this German style cafe regularly. It’s our local friendly spot. You walk in and you know this place is owned by people who care. They treat people with respect and kindness .But wait! Besides having amazing coffee, the best part is their baked goods!!! Yum! Fabulous and made fresh daily. No matter what’s your craving, it’s going to taste like everything else the Germans do, prefect!!

I love Kaffeeklatsch, their active with improvement of lake city. Breads, pastries and cookies are tasteful and tasty. The coffee is so delicious, it’s always a treat. Enjoy cozy indoor seating or quaint outdoor seating.

This Lake City bakery is always so welcoming and comfortable. And everything they make is absolutely delicious. I have to commend the employees too. There are lots of different folks who pass through the cafe and the employees are very respectful and helpful. Delicious pastry and the kindest employees. The best.

Always a fan of a good bakery cafe. And even more so when it's German! Kaffeeklatsch has been on my list for quite some time now. So glad we could make a quick stop here! The smell of fresh bread when you walk through the door is priceless. I mainly went here to try their famous biscuits. Especially the jam ones, which turned out to be amazing. But we also ended up trying their Bienenstich (A soft yeasty cake with almond crust top and sweet custard filling), Blechkuchen ( Buttery Sheet Cake with raspberry topping) and Apfeltasche (Apple Turnover). You just can't stop yourself from ordering them all! Loved that they weren't too sweet. Seemed perfectly baked and tasted yum! The raspberry one was a bit sour to my taste, but loved everything else! We got coffee just to go with it and I'm so glad we did!!! One of the best capuccinos I've had so far. Strong and extremely flavorful! If you're someone who loves coffee and some baked goodness, this is your place!

They've blocked off all indoor seating, required masks for all customers, added clear plastic dividers along the edges of the counter and made their pay system touchless. They still have three tables outside (on the Lake City Way side) that are okay when the weather is nicer. There's plenty of distance between the tables, and the sidewalk is wide enough that people walking by *can* maintain separation. Of course, it's Lake City Way...

Yes.They have an excellent selection of graubrot, rogenbrot, volkorn brot, and bauernbrot. Good selection of pastries and baked goods, including Bienenstich! They also have different kinds of brötchen that are similar to Germany. Those are my favorite. Also check out Hess German bakery and deli in Lakewood. They also have a baker there that makes fresh baked goods, brötchen, brot and laugenbrötchen. You can get groceries, meats, cheeses and sweets there too. Full pasterie shop next door for sahnetorte, kuchen and mohnkuchen. Guten appetit!
